New one day sales record hit today

I've hit a new sales record today for 'sales in one day', and there's still another 6 hours in the accounting day to go

My product(s) are time-oriented - monthly magazines - and as such most of my sales tend to happen during the first few days of the month. I don't expect this sales amount will continue to happen every single day (would be awesome if it did) but in any case, it's been a pretty great day so far.

Much of this seems to have been related to list building. I give out a free PDF sampler, then simply send out a new issue announcement once per month. Every month the list has grown, and the sales *usually* increase with the numbers. Last fall there were a few odd months that didn't correlate, but in general, that's what's happening.

It's a great start to 2010 so far

It's taken me a year to get to this point though, so don't anyone go thinking this was a 'get rich quick' process (I started in Nov 08)

So far up about 20% over the previous 'one day high'. Still have a ways to go to catch up to the big boys/girls. Louise Evans had a pretty spectacular product launch of $25k in 2009, and I'm nowhere near that yet
