Video Expert Advice wanted

I have several high quality videos that have been professionally made, 20-25 minutes each. The are big files. The original .avi's are gorgeous. I'm putting them on a membership site using Camtasia video software to make the .html pages.

I have tried all kinds of settings, but the sound in the music at the beginning drops out and sometimes the video is pixelated.

How do I get the video to play beautifully? Your advice is appreciated.

I split the video and audio channels.

I import the video into Camtasia then import the audio as a wav or mp3, this gives me clearer sound if needed. Sometimes I don't have to split the channels though, but I always import the avi/mp4/mov into Camtasia for fast streaming on the web.
