Supplying Articles to Article Directory

Hi.

A basic question.

Say for example I do a blog or website with information on different types of apples (the fruit), would an article directory accept it considering the article is already on my website?

Thanks.

J.

Some of the big ones might not accept it, but in general yes it will be accepted if the submission guidelines are followed.

Yes, all you have to do is have the link to that particular post be the backlink that you use for the article you post to the different sites.

I think that the link you but in your author resource box can point anywhere you like.

        Yes and no.

Some directories frown on direct linking to affiliate offers , other could care less.

Yes, I think you are right, I have never used any affiliate links so I did not know, what I meant was to point the link anywhere on your website as I totally agree with that pointing it back to the same article is pointless.

I don't know of any sites that will not except an article just because it is already on your blog .

Linking to the exact same article in the resource box would be a complete waste of time and link resources .

The only thing is you need to make sure that if you use a pen name for the blog article that you have the same pen name on file with the directory .

As always .. check the directory tos .. but this is what I have found for the directories I have used and I use most that anyone on here would .

I just sent 25 that were already on my blog to eZine and all have been accepted, so I think the answer is "yes".

There aren't any sites that I'm aware of - and I'm in pretty thick with article directories - that will reject your article because it's already been published on your site or in your blog.

After all, article directories are in the business of providing content to be used on sites and blogs. If you give Ezinearticles your article, and then Joe Publisher visits ezinearticles, chooses your article, and puts it on his blog, Ezinearticles does NOT remove the article from their directory.

      Here's what ezinearticles says:
Your articles may be picked up by hundreds to thousands of highly-targeted content-hungry ezine publishers who EACH have thousands, tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of email list members of their own. That means your article and expertise may be exposed to hundreds of thousands or potentially even millions of people.
In fact, places like GoArticles consider each publisher download a vote of confidence, and they have a special section called "Most Requested". They feature this content so that others will pick up the articles as well.

Since Joe Publisher can display your article on his blog without reprisal, there's no reason the author can't do exactly the same thing.
