Product Owners...How Do You Maintain Strong Relationship with Your Affiliates?

Please I would like to know the best way(s) for a product owner to maintain strong relationship with his/her affiliates.

I want to create a product that will require getting some affiliates to market the product for me but I don't know exactly how to get affiliates and how to sustain the good/strong relationship with them.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

    If you really want to control your relation, have your affiliate page require an opt-in requiring both the affiliate nickname and email address. This way, when an affiliate makes a sale - you know exactly how to contact them.

    To keep them on their good side, Shoot out an email once a fortnight/month offering a free eBook with something to do with Internet Marketing. This process will help both them and you while giving you the relationship you are after!
