Default I Speak To My Daughter And Discover 2 Trends For Niches

I was on the phone with my wonderful daughter telling her of some
recent successes with my internet marketing niches and she said
to me. "Well if that works have you tried "this" and "that"."
(This and that being niches)

It turns out that she is involved in new niches that I know
nothing about.
It also turns out that these niches are huge upward trends in
online searches.

Talk to your children. Its good for you in more ways than you
would know.

The Memoirs Of Edward Rochester - Just imagine if Jane Eyre had been written by Mr Rochester.
My first full length novel now on Kindle and In Print on Createspace. That's what I call a niche!

It's the ones who are young who are more in-tuned into what's hot. Next time your kid asks you to buy them something, it must mean it's popular. The best ideas are shared on the playground. Kids discuss what's cool!
In my days at school, Ninja Turtles was cool and New Kids sucked!

On This occasion I'm keeping them to myself - they are too good to miss.

I can tell you of a third niche I found by accident when doing research in wordtracker and the google keyword tool.

Guitar Hero (The Computer Game)

As a real musician I will never get going on this one but there are many superb search terms that have high search and low competition. Good for amazon affiliates or maybe an adsense site

It's not difficult to find good trends. I made a thread a couple hours ago about another powerhouse niche right now which is a top seller on eBay and Amazon underneath iphones. Selling like crazy! It's a kids' toy.

Thanks much for sharing your story. It brings back old memories.

I was in my office way back when and my Daughter came in playing with a YoYo. I got a flash of light and went to the 99cents store and bought a bunch of yoyos for 99 cents and listed them on eBay for 99cents. (brilliant right? Bought for 99 and sold for 99, well it was a test. LOL)

Anyway they all sold, so I went to the wholesale district in LA and bought them for 25 cents to 50 cents. I made several thousand dollars before other ebay sellers caught on and started selling yoyos too.

Thanks again for the memory jogger.

Did you also bump up your shipping rates for a little extra profit?

On the old forum, someone said they went to Walmart and they watched where their kids headed and what they picked up.

Watch where the kids goes to in the supermarket

Actually no. I didn't bump my shipping charges at all. In fact sometimes it cost more to ship than I charged for shipping. I did make a nice profit on the YoYos though.

However the business did have it ups and downs.

Hi George

I'm thinking that yoyo's have been out of fashion for a while.
Maybe its time for a come back. You could restart the trend

As a matter of fact, I was kicking around down in the toy district of LA a week or so ago and I was looking in my old suppliers stores for those yoyos. I couldn't find any. Now they have barking toy dogs, foney fish, little musical instruments and thousands of other little thingys but not that many yoyos. heck I just wanted a yoyo for old times sake. Oh well my new cat toy lazer light rocks. Oh and the squeeze no battery needed flashlight is nice too.

At least I didn't see them. The YoYos that is.
