Default What Would Be a Good Conversion Rate After 100k Impressions?

Hey Warriors

I have been doing PPC - CPA for around 6 months now with good success,
and now I'm looking to do mediabuys on high traffic relevant websites, I will admit I am not to experienced in this but I am always looking at other income streams, Anyway what would be an average conversion rate after about 100k impressions an a highly relevant site, just a ball park number would be good just to gauge if it could be profitable before I spend 2k buying banner space.

Thanks in advance

Bryan

It would depend on the quality of traffic and the offer. I know quite a few sites that pay for junk traffic to boost stats. I feel for the advertisers.

Bryan, do you have the demographic specs for your mediabuy?

That's the first question

the second is, if you know the demos, do you have an offer that would appeal/convert to that segment?

If you can't answer 1 or both of those questions your media buy will be nothing more than a gamble.

Also, as Steve said, make sure your media buy stats are 3rd party verified.

Yeah I have had a look in to the demographics and I think it would be a very good fit for the website I intend to advertise on, I do have an offer in mind that converts very well for my in my PPC campaign.

I will also make sure there traffic stats are verefied before I shell out 2k upfront on advertising.

Thanks

Bryan

I feel like there are so many different variables that come into play here, it's hard to answer without knowing.

here is what I think ballpark figure.. average across industry.. 10 clicks out of 1000 impressions.. 5 sales out of 100 clicks.. anything below that is not acceptable
