Sending first mails to subscribers

I just started building a list. I offer five free tips to get people to sign up. What works better, sending them all five tips at once or send them one tip a day for five days?

Thanks!

one tip per mailing.. but wait for a few days.. if you do it everyday.. someone may get tired and start hitting that SPAM button

Are you going to have content to keep sending them after the first email if you include all 5 in your first? If not then make it a weekly thing or ever 3 days. You need to get your list to look forward to the value of your content and looking and waiting for your next email to come.

I do not have anything to send after the first mailing. I am building the list for a future product.

Well thats where your list building will fail I am sorry to say. If you stop providing content over half of those people joining your list are going to forget about your emails and when you do promote your product later on down the road they will either 1. Be old email address's 2. not remember who you are and delete your email.

Many list builders fall into this trap. They work more on trying to build a big list then working with the list they already have. Get your list no matter the size even if its 10 people, waiting for your next email so they expect it. Say every Monday you send out a mailing of something of value that helps them out.

Not knowing your niche, I would split test both.
    I hope that helps you.
