The Best "Free" Information I Have Gotten Online

I have opted into a lot of lists to receive free information since joining the IM community. Most of these reports, videos, and "free" products were not worth my e-mail address, but a few have been gems (and some I didn't even have to opt-in to get).

If I had to pick one report, video, or product I received for free, or for my e-mail address, that had an impact on my thinking or marketing, it would have to be the Million Dollar Napkin video that Ryan Deiss did for the The Continuity Blueprint launch.

Million Dollar Napkin

So, I was wondering what the best "free" exchange has been since you joined this wonderful community?

And please don't say the Warrior Forum because we all know that it is great. :p

    I'll list a few.

Ben Hart has some wonderful articles and videos that are free about direct marketing, and adwords.

I thought the free content for the "Launch Tree" launch was excellent.

Alexis Dawes has a really great tool for coming up with titles and things to write about.

Paul Myers and the TalkBiz e-newsletter, by far IMHO.

The ebook he gives titled "Need To Know" is better than most $37 - $97 info-products.

But more importantly, he actually has a lesson in every email he sends.

'Need To Know' perhaps taught me one of my most important IM lessons thus far, and that is about leverage It's a fantastic book, and I agree that it's better than a lot of paid products - in fact it's WAY better

    Ryan Deiss, yes great; also got a few other freebies from him;
Self Liquidating offers - the overall concept of an adwords system
Product Splintering - so taking one product and making it into many niche products
Thought Stringing which helped me with google content network

All have been real eye openers and useful reports........

In my experience, free autoresponders aren't ever that great. But... SendFree is one that seems to have the least "tag along" advertising etc...

Move to paid autoresponders as fast as possible, WAY better email deliver rates and a host of other benefits await you.

Aweber, RespondOne from Goldbar Webhosting, iContact, GetResponse etc...

Thanks Joseph..I'll take a look. I agree I need to move to a respectiable responder fast but I'm not there just yet...cash wise. Out of the ones you listed, which one (from your experience) works the best?

An excellent autoresponder service. They offer a free option for up
to 500 subscribers on your list. They also offer a pay-as-you-go
      option.

Sylvie Fortin's 3-part Series "Internet Marketing Sins" is straight to the point and every word is unbelievably true. So true, she had to wait until she had enough power to stand up against those who didn't like being exposed even they weren't by name.

btw: This series is so well put together, it would make an excellent Xmas gift for anyone starting out online and will save thousands in lessons learned now instead of later. It should be included with the next Microsoft Windows Release!!
