Social Networking Sites To Drive Traffic

Social Networking to drive customers. Have you seen the stats on social networking sites? These are growing by leaps and bounds. There is one stat. that says 500,000 people are joining facebook every day. This is a marketing bonanza where you can focus to niche groups. If you combine this with twitter you can get a large following. One new social networking site is drawing a lot of interest both on the web and other media. This site pays you to do searches, read email, shop, use the portal to log in to other email sites, im, and other social networking sites. They are paying out 70% of there advertising revenues. Why not get paid for what we do anyway!! The link is in my signature.

I'm not sure if there is a question in your post? Social network sites can send a lot of traffic yes, but does the traffic convert? I mean if you are part of a niche specific social network then the traffic AND conversion can be a winning combination. But I think if you approach say, Myspace for example in a general way and blast out your message to anyone who will listen, it may be better suited for branding purposes..

You have to do a little homework to know where to go, but there is virtually a group for every interest known!!

Not all social networking sites have a good conversions. I think it depends on the keywords you are using and the competition. but in my case I got a good organic traffic on one of the site I submitted and until now still having good conversion.

It's not that social networking traffic doesn't covert, it's the fact that many marketers think they can just go into these sites and start blatantly promoting their products.

Think of it this way, you're gathered around the table (Facebook) with your family and friends sharing photos and talking then all of a sudden someone knocks on the door and says "If you are interested in losing weight you should try **** Berries"

That is why they started the "do not call list"... no one wants to be bothered.
