How Do You Write you E-mail Series?

I'm looking to delve more into building lists from my pages but I'm unsure as to how to write a proper series that funnels a reader into buying. If you have any input as to the progression your e-mails follow, the types of content you offer (yes, I know, it will vary form niche to niche) etc, I would much appreciate it!

thanks,

- Brandon

I can tell you what I do (in most of my niches) but I don't know if it'll help.

      - I usually send autoresponder email on days 1, 3, 6, 10, 15 and 21 and thereafter at 6-day intervals (i.e. varying the days of the week) for ever

      - I almost never include a link to anything for sale before the 4th email

      - I write in the same tone as the articles they've read which took them to my opt-in - I don't try to simplify or use easy words: I don't mind if there are words in my emails that people aren't very familiar with: I'd rather lose one or two who find me difficult to read than lose many more who think I don't know anything they don't know, so I write emails which I myself would be willing to read all the way through. With a mixture of short sentences and paragraphs and an occasional longer-winded explanation

      - I try to be informal, controversial and entertaining (I completely disagree with people who think that humour has no place in copy)

      - I try to write a mixed balance between material for predominantly left-brained and right-brained people

      - I make sure that anyone but an expert in the niche is going to learn something "new and different" in every mail I write

      - I try to give genuinely valuable information which I think people might be interested in, or which will provoke them into thinking there may be a lot more to the subject than they've appreciated and they may have more to learn about it than they knew

      - I give links to products I'm promoting less often than others do, I think: I try to give people the feeling that when I'm including a link to something I'm recommending, that's a rarity and must be worth looking at

      - I never write anything that I'll be uncomfortable having read by others or read out in a court
These are some solid tips Alexa. Copied to my OneNote notebook

I've heard some people like Russell Brunson just chop up their sales copy into several pieces i.e the bullets and just remind them of the benefits of the product over several emails. Its does work., so try several ways and see which works best for you.
