I just found 24 hot leads laying in my driveway?!

So I'm walking out to check the mail and have a cig (new years resolution failure #3) and there's a little plastic baggie full of business cards laying in my path.

I quickly thumb threw em and see if there's any free movie rentals or sushi discounts and realize there are quite a few websiteless cards. Upon final counting 24 of the 40 cards are in fact websiteless.

Now I'm not going to assume they don't have a website but now I do know their marketing skills are on the weaker side

O M G! (been hanging around my girlfriend too much, but alas,is that really a problem?)

This is looking like a goldmine of opportunity warriors, I lean toward the offline world more so due to my love for mankind (new years resolution #15). So talking to the chimney sweep dude or the home cleaning lady will be exciting, maybe make a new friend :p

I'm thinking they just started the conversation and I can now navigate it towards a web design contract or maybe just marketing help, hmm...

Have you ever countered a sales approach with one of your own in this fashion? I'd love to hear your story

    Pretty cool Jeremy.

Over here we often check local newspapers and local radio stations: lousy music - great leads.

But since November we have more and more referred customers. We hit 2 customers, they loved our work and keep on sending leads our way. It's just insane.

Oh another tip: a local coffee shop/bakery has some new bread bags with advertising. Did check some of the advertisers in there and some don't have a website, and they fit our basic profile: service providers with web potential.

If your local bakery doesn't have those bags maybe you can develop them: sell ads to local companies - just enough to pay the bags + distribution, and there you go: cross sell them what you want

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.
