Please tell me why this promotion HERE is not converting sales. I dont think the price is too high considering I am offering a total of 5 very high quality DIY graphic design products, which all have self explanatory video tutorials included and I even have an ebook thats included to help with the Action Scripts and tips on designing an eCover yourself which is very, very useful. I didn't add a long sales letter, I did add a link to my original website where anyone can read more about the products. I cant devalue these products by lowering their price anymore, they are actually VERY HIGH QUALITY products not some cheap rehashed techniques for Internet Maketing.... Any suggestions are appreciated......... |

Just a guess but maybe most people (like me) have no use for creating covers, so out of 70 views only 2 or 3 people had any serious interest and they did not buy for other reasons. In addition, I haven't looked but there are probably lower priced alternatives out there. |

I asked you in your thread if you wrote these scripts. Part of the reason is everyone including Thomas has scripts for photoshop and they are cheaper then yours. If these are unique and written by you then that needs to be emphasized Include some hot to videos on making stunning graphics with them etc . HTH -WD |

| It's always difficult to guess how to improve conversion rates. One thing I would do straight away is use something like Google Weboptimizer to start testing various things like headlines for example. BUT the main thing I would do (and I'm not saying it will improve conversions - but I'd like a little bet on it) is... Produce some screencasts to demonstrate your products. Your products are very visual but also quite technical - maybe not to you - but a lot of people will find them daunting. I would have a video at the top of your sales page showing a rubbish sales page using poor graphics compared to one made using your ace product graphics. Then immediately show them how quick and easy it is to produce them. Just a thought... Hope that helps - best wishes with it and hope you start selling a few soon as the product does look really good. Best wishes - Dave P.S. Just another thought - I actually bought a similar product a few years back and the thing I struggle with is actually producing something half decent to actually convert using your type of product - maybe some extra help videos on this as a bonus would help? |

Also I think people may be overlooking the fact that this is not just eCover related their are the bonus products to consider, which are DIY IM graphics related products. Thanks for your input though.

Hi EWGQDD, my initial impression was that the presentation is weak, if I was in the market for a graphics package I want to feel some excitement when I find the right product (as with any purchase). As others have commented it would be good to see a video of the top features of the package and get a bit of excitement generated. Best wishes mbrig |

Perhaps more detail about what the product will do? You say above that your product has more scripts than the others on the market - list them in the copy. As of right now, it looks like just another ecover product and I can and have found those free. Tell us what we're going to get for that money - make us want it. And, by the way, bonuses don't count. Those are given in addition to the product and don't cost anything so you have to show why your ecover actions scripts are worth the price to the viewer. Granted, the bonus can help sales but the same thing goes for them - there is nothing there that tells me what they will do for me. Edited to add: Your headline says 5 bonus gifts but only 4 are shown in the ad, by the way. Tina |

Hey mate, I think you've probably got two problems. The first is that your average marketer who really isn't graphic design savvy may not appreciate what actions scrips are, and see this as just another cover creator. If they want your standard point and click options, there are cheaper available, and they might not understand the versatility your package provides. I lurve actions scripts, so I was actually interested in what you had on offer, but I dare say I'm in the minority. For those who do understand, or are prepared to learn, I think you're product looks pretty good and if you created them from scratch you've reason to be proud of them. But tell people this! They are unique, people can't get them anywhere else, these aren't just recycled scripts. I'd like to see more examples on your sales page, the style looks slick enough but there's a lot of black, which doesn't really compliment the detail of your scripts. If you're good enough to create your own scripts, you can no doubt put together some thumping examples. Prospects see that and it presses the 'I want that NOW' button in them, which helps to get them to press the purchase link. Bottom line, people want eye popping. The script package I wound up getting (can't even remember the name, I'll post it when I get home) had close ups of the detail you could achieve with the scripts. That and the variety (dozens of scripts for paperback, hardback, box, software box, cd's, pouches, caps, I mean this thing had it all) made it worthwhile even though its price tag was about double yours. Some people might not dig the bonus items either. I may be wrong but I think there's a general perception among IM'ers who are savvy with the whole bonus thing that most of the time the bonus items are garbage. However, I'd actually really like to get some of your bonuses, so maybe go into more detail about them too. Good luck dude. |

I know most people give away bonuses that actually do not count meaning they are crap, but these are not crap products at all, I sell them on another website for 27.00 each..... The 5th bonus is a special secret bounus and its mentioned on near the sales button, I will redo this page later tonight and hopefully get a video done, I do appreciate all who have made suggestions. Thanks, keep em coming guys, I am new to IM but not really to graphic designing. So I just need to learn the ropes and your input will help lots.

Once we're convinced that the main product is wonderful, then the bonuses become overdelivering - did that make more sense? Tina

That is a pet peeve of mine personally, it's kind of like purchasing a WSO to learn something new and they send you all over the net to figure out other stuff first - lol! Why would I buy your script over a cheaper version? What is so unique about yours that I would be willing to depart with my money to get yours? How is it going to help me design better? Faster? or am I going to have to spend time learning yet another program? What is the learning curve on this one? How much time do I have to spend on it before I can produce with it? You skim over your main product and go right onto the bonuses. Are your bonuses better than your main product? Maybe those are some questions you could answer in your 'sales letter' which might help us buyers make a purchase. Hope this helps!

The website or sales letter? I assure you the website is an original and not anywhere else....I designed everything on it personally last week.... As for action scripts for less, I have had that discussion and no where on the net are you going to find this many action scripts at this quality for the same price.... I know because I have looked.... You may find some action scripts but not the quantity or quality of these....... As the following suggested questions I will include and answer these points when I update my classified ad.... Quote:
I will definately make the flow of the page better and more logical. I will address all of these suggestions to the best of my ability.... Thanks for you input..........Aaarrrggghhh LOL I like the user name! ![]() Steve Quote:

Great Steve (that's my husband's name BTW ![]() Here is a sample of what I was talking about...seeing yours made me think of this, just need to find a way to do yours with your own unique spin on it so us designers don't think of products like these that are already done... Cover Action Pro - Ebook Cover Software Best of Luck and keep it going... |

Hey, I'm a graphic designer, and your product looks mighty nice, but im my opion it is over priced, see if you offered this for the price of 17$ or 27$, you would have me itching on buying it, because its something i could make use of now and then but not all the time. Selling it for a lower price also enables you to get more sales im my opinion, plus you could of instead offered your bonuses as a one time offer after the actions have been purchased to make up your money. Again nice collection, but considering you can get psds of these from deviant art and just skew and transform images into postion, or download a ton of free sets of the net. Hope you dont take my post the wrong way i wasnt posting it to be akward i was just giving you an insight into how i looked at it from a designers point of view. Happy New Year Mikey |

Hello there My suggestion is that you remove the "Warrior Special Classified offer" because it grabs alot of attention, and at first I thought this was sort of classified ad promotion offer. So I got a bit confused skimming the ad. I would keep the: This is Amazing (he.. what is) Great news for anyone..digital products.. etc (who doesn't in here?...) then some bullet points why this is unique and how I can benefit from this; easy to use, sell more, make more money etc... or just a line or two that captures it all in the beginning. You should show more graphic samples too. Agree with many of the others here, its a bit pricy. Unless of course, you can convince me this is really something I really need. Wish you the best of luck |

I think Aaarrrggghhh was trying to say that it seems you skim over the main product and jump to a oh, you get these awesome things too kinda thing. Perhaps also that your sales letter looks like an IM sales letter, not that you didn't have an original product or web copy. It doesn't *POP*. No offense, but you're selling graphics. You gotta shake me up man! Being a photoshop dude, I get it - I understand the benefit of scripts and how easy yours may be. That said, don't give me technical - give me a: 1 - Use these samples to begin your killer ecover creation! 2 - Simply click a button to fire these awesome scripts 3 - Whammo! You've got an amazing ecover (whatever) in seconds! (no that's not copyrighted) Just show me how easy it is - if I'm a photoshop newb, I'm looking for one-click ease so I don't HAVE to understand how to turn something flat into something with perspective or how to do a reflection and fade it properly. Regarding page flow, there's a link to samples that jumps down the page - put some of them RIGHT there and lead me into the purchase, drooling at how cool these graphics are! Then close it with some kinda bonus if they are really good as you say. Your simple instructions don't look simple to the layperson... How about a short video, showcasing your expertise and friendliness (since you say your help desk is responsive). Have a layout that looks good, fire your script and presto! you have shown the user how *easy* it is to use - only has to be a vid less than 30 seconds, probably 15-20. Hope it helps, all success. Your advert doesn't "Pop". You need more hype. In the WSO section everything is hyped way beyond reality. Your advert looks boring, not exciting at all. Not once did you use any proven magical phrases that suck in the newbees. Here are examples of what you need to say, to succeed in the WSO section; drive insane amounts of cash lethal results secret ninja techniques make a killing most powerful ... to drive crazy amounts of cash make more money with ... secrets of success holy grail killer squeeze pages There are many more, look at the members who have serial wso offers, use their text, because it's working for them. The best you could do, is say "This is amazing" in red font? pffft. I wasn't amazed at all. See? Your offer sounds quite believable, that's not going to work! |
|
So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.

A) I got bored with-in 10 seconds of reading it B) They look like crappy PLR products C) Short Sales Letter that doesn't really tell me any benefits D) You just told everyone you have no sales, no sales instantly tells me I dont want to buy it either, you shot yourself in the foot. Good luck man. |

I just want to add that perhaps some testimonials on the landing page would be very useful as well. As I was skimming through it caught myself thinking: - "what do other people think about it?" then I figured that I would rather wait for somebody else to try it out first. Blue |
