Do you really get QUALITY opt-in leads out of free WSO's?
Something I've been pondering for a while... As we know there are many free offers going on at WF and/or in the War Room at any given time.
Get this report for free, get these videos for free, get my package for free, learn this million dollar secret for free.. etc etc. That is a great thing!
However, 99% of them require you to sign up for a "list" before you can get whatever is being offered. Most also go on to making you other (paid) offers on the confirmation page, with a sales letter pushing an affiliate product or their own product.
Many say it will be instant access but then they want you to sit through some long video, yet again pushing more products, before you can gain access to the free offer.
Now, don't get me wrong, I am in no way doubting the quality of the free stuff that is given out at WF. Some of it is actually original and thought-provoking, which is why I usually download them (only if it's quick access without hoops), especially if it's from one of the more experienced/well-known warriors.
I also understand the principle of "I'm giving you something so you have to give me something in return", i.e. your e-mail information. I also understand that one can unsubscribe at their own will.
The only question I have is: What is the quality of the leads that are gained via this method?
I mean, aren't the majority of the people just giving their e-mail to gain access to the free information that you are giving, while igorning the follow-up e-mails completely afterwards or unsubscribing altogether? I personally actually have a "junk" e-mail address, that I use to jump through these sort of hoops. All I do with that e-mail address usually is log on a couple of times a week, and delete everything. So I personally am definitely not what one would call a 'quality lead'. I'm just not sure what the case is with the rest of the Warriors.
Is it about building the NUMBER of subscribers, for ad-swap purposes?
Or am I just completely wrong and the subscribers gained via this method are actually quality subscribers who actually read your e-mails, and possibly act on your recommendations?
What am I missing here?
