PPV question. Media traffic report shows ROI but....

Okay people it may sound like a daft question but I have no choice. If I don't ask, I won't know right? and in this case I will loose money too...

So here it goes.

Using Media Traffic with my first ppv campaign. All is going good everything set, added around 300 URLs to target to and the campaign goes live.

Also put the tracking pixel in my squeeze page so I can see the ROI.

Here is what I don't understand. My stats tell me I'm gettin ROI but I'm not.

My stats for URL targetted campaign are:

Views : 1937 Amount spent: $30.20 ROI:527

Stats for Category based campaign:

Views: 6505 Amount spent: $45.53 ROI : 39

Now what I don't understand is I've hardly had any signups from the campaign, I'm loosing money and ROI it shows is a good number.

Any help will be appreciated. Also, the destination URL is in my sig and I think it needs changing may be a little less text on it. Any tips to improve campaign and about this confusion will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Maddi.

Your squeeze page is making a fundamental mistake that will hurt your conversion rate for sure. You need the opt-in box well above the fold. In my FF browser, I have to scroll down a bit to see the fields and the submit button. That can drastically drop your conversions.

The simplest solution I see is to make the ebook image and red text at the top much smaller. This will shorten the page without eliminating text, and bring the opt-in box above the fold.

OK, beyond that, I would also take this text:

Enter your details in the Box to the right and we'll send you a chapter of the Book 'Build Self Confidence' Absolutely FREE immediately.

And move it down into that field to the left of your opt-in box. It makes more sense there, and it will further remove vertical space, which will move your opt-in box even higher up, which you want.

    Good luck with it.

Thanks. I'll probably create another directory and make a squeeze page there with the tweaks you suggested coz I don't wanna reduce the font size on my main squeeze page which is the root index file and if I just copy paste this squeeze page in a diff directory and change the font size and all that and just change the destination URL on my campaign and then test the conversion.

Thanks for the help and lets see how it goes.

spend $80 and hardly any signup.. that is a poor ROI no matter how you define it... tweak your squeeze page and see if there is any improvement otherwise you may need to consider other form of marketing.. even for banner marketing I would expect better return than that
