Hi

quick question, can anyone recommend a good audio testimonial recording software I can use for my website. I've had a look at audio acrobat but frankly I don't fancy paying them $19.95 per month. I just honest good quality reliable software.

Any suggestions :confused::confused::confused:

    I'm confused. Do you just need to record a couple of testimonials, or do you need something that will let visitors come to your site and record their comments?

        Hi thanks for the great replys.

        What I'm looking for is something that has a tape recorder interface (stop, pause and play)- if makes sense. So the person viewing the site can click 'play' button to listen to the audio. I've seen them on other website I just don't know the company that makes them. I mean audio acrobat can't be the only person that provides this type of technology.

        That's the kind of software I am looking for I hope this doesn't sound too confusing. :confused::confused::confused::confused:

          OK, back to clarification. Do you mean you have the testimonial already recorded and you're wondering how to embed it on your website?

          As for a really easy (nothing to install) recorder, try this: aviary.com/tools/myna

          It's online. The problem you'll find with the built in windows recorder is that it doesn't export to mp3 (last time I checked).

          If you're using wordpress then I think the easiest option is to install podpress. I don't actually use it to send information to itunes, but it makes embedding mp3s and videos in by blog super easy.

          If not, you can get the player yourself and embed it in any webpage.
          wpaudioplayer.com/standalone

          I can elaborate if you need on the embedding bit (in case you're not using wordpress).

          [sorry about the no-links. still a newbie here]

            The built-in Windows recorder does not let you convert to Mp3 because wma files are patented.

    If you have a PC, then your computer should come with a build in recorder. I think its called "Sound Recorder". Just do a search for it. Then if the quailty is bad, you can use audacity to edit it. Or there is Web Audio Plus.
