Hi I've been creating a report in word to then convert to pdf as its for visitors who opt in on my website. Basically I've created hyperlinks in word that direct to an affiliate offer. Problem is when I convert this file to pdf the links are not clickable but are only highlighed in blue. Anyone know to get around this issue? Thanks Chris |

Actually this depends on the type of PDF converting software that you're using. Not all PDF converters can detect active links or will make active links. What PDF software are you using? Frank Bruno |

The easiest way I know is to use open office instead of word. Its free and available here: download: OpenOffice.org Downloads Joel |

I'm using dopdf which I found on Microsoft's marketplace. The links seem to be working in word when you hover over it and press ctrl.

just in case you don't want to install a pdf-converter, you could use adobe's online word processor which has a nifty "pdf export" feature and works like a charm http://buzzword.acrobat.com |

Yup, it really depends on the PDF converter... I've had the same problem in the past but it wasn't that important so I never went on to fix it.

Open Office is the only program I've used that always seems to work creating PDFs.

I have recently experienced the same problem, and the free Open Office was the answer. When saving as a pdf, I selected the ebook option, and all of the links work. Good luck Kerry |
