The New Yahoo Headache

Hello marketers!
I'm in need of some assistance with yahoo. Since they have been implementing all these new filters the past few months I'm having alot of issues getting errors from them. I receive alot of TS01's from my main ips(ips ive had forever that send out majority of my emails) and receive this 421 temporary error message on smaller ips. Once i get this 421 message it doesnt ever stop and always dumps messages in the junk regardless of links or content . I find this odd considering I get 1 complaint for sending out 500 emails!?!? People are interacting with my emails until i get this 421 error and the number drops off of course since its in the junk! Most people want to say keep broadcasting to my users to add to contact list...well it seems 98% of people are lazy or cant follow instructions so I need to find a way to keep from getting this error. Any help would be soooo appreciated!

change to a new ip to send those messages?? rent an email relay? hire more experienced sender who works with big name email providers like yahoo? if yahoo grey lists your domain, then you have to use redirect in your email content.. no direct link in your email as it will be picked up by the filter... those annoying false positives do become a problem for legit marketers...

Well thats the thing. These are new ips that im trying to get started.
I'm sure I'm grey listed and want to stop that asap! I use the same link on these new ips as i do on my main ones. I don't have near as bad issues goin on as the new ones.

I can feel the frustration... but not much we can do with that black box called spam filter thing.. those big outfits have contract in place with the big three to whitelist their emails by default.. and incident like this almost involves a phone call to the point of contact.. but anyone in Yahoo you can call? maybe not..

Well I've emailed to them a few times yielding canned responses from everything to its a temp problem that will stop in a few hours to that CentMail program they came up with. I should probably pick up the phone i suppose. But like you said who can you call..
I mean I've been in this game for a little over 4 yrs now and have seen tsunami like changes happen each year with different ISP's. This new yahoo stuff is flat out a nightmare. I would think lots of people on this forum would have seen this issue or pretty dang close to it. If you google it tons of peeps asking about it. From your posts looks like you don't have issues with YH
