WTH is wrong with squidoo

OK warriors,

I have been working my ass off creating Squidoo Lenses and I also did some massive link building plus piniging plus social bookmarking. I also got Dofollow backlinks from high PR site but after 2 days my lens isn't indexed. It never happened to me before and I am used to getting my lenses indexed under a day but from about last 2 months I am having trouble with sqdidoo.

Any help on why this may be happening and what should I do to make sure my lens gets indexed fast.

    I saw this days hubpages/squidoo's are not indexed very fast. Are you in the hot domains like finance/insurance? Maybe they look to spammy and google is offering it some special treatment, even with backlinks.

      Google has been treating squidoo not as good as before. Now, many time I see scribd outranking squidoo and that's something I have never seen before. I think I might have to move back to my good ole Blogger.

        My Squidoo rankings have plummeted recently, but my traffic from Hubpages is up significantly. Maybe give them a try?

    2 days??? are you kidding?? google is a not real time engine.. give it a few more days... at least compared to bing.. it still lightning fast!!

      I have had my lenses indexed by Google in less than 6 hours in past. Yup, about 4 or 5 of them actually. So, I was expecting this one to be as quick as those.

    ^ Yes, but blogger does not have the authority of squidoo. Actually it does, but the subdomain you get does not have some authority as squidoo.

    I agree that Squidoo is not one of the favorites of Google these days.

    You can try the following to get your lens indexed:

    Create a blogger blog in your niche, Publish few posts and link to your lens. Ping the rss feed of your blog and bookmark. This should do the trick..

    Any of the recently slapped sites can take a while to index. Squidoo, Hubpages, Blogger, most article directories, etc. If you keep linking your lens Google will find it. I wouldn't stop now.

    There is a post on the forum here about how three articles being posted on the same site, on the same day. Two of the articles got indexed rather quickly, but the third took over 6 weeks to finally show up.

    Don't get discouraged... this is normal.
