A tool for saving bits and pieces of info you want to use later

I red a thread a couple of weeks ago where a couple of warriors were talking about a couple of software/ plug-ins for saving bits and pieces of information that you don't need now but want to save for later, it would also allow you to keep everything organize by categorizing the ideas and information.

I forgot to book mark that thread, and i didn't post anything on it either, so I cant find it through my profile page either. I searched the WF endlessly, but cant find it. Does anybody know which thread I am talking about? or does anyone know of such a tool?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

PS; I am not talking about mind mapping tools, this was something else

    I use Google Docs in order to keep the informations I don't need or want to categorize. I also use Google email and Google task for this.

      Thanks Farasens1, but this was something different and had some really cool features that would really make it easy to save bits of info you are reading so you can go back to it later and it would automatically keep the related stuff in one folder. Thanks anyway.
