You want to spam links every 5 minutes? DO you really think that is a sustainable method of twitter marketing?

I've only found ones that charge around thirty bucks a month. Just google 'schedule your twitter posts'.

There are a ton of programs that do that (free and paid). However, twitter is really cracking down on that type of advertising. Just looking in google under "auto tweeter" I found a few products, that you can check out too.

Yes there are a number of services that do that - new ones are coming out all the time.

But is it silly of me to think that twitter isn't DESIGNED for IMers and that there are better traffic generation methods? Sure it depends on your market. But I find twitter is full of NOISE and CLUTTER.

let me see if understand you correctly.. you want to write all the tweets and have the program send out tweet for you periodically so you do not have sit in front of computer.. sure .. that can be done.. it is trivial if you have any programming background.. search "batch tweet" .. you can accomplish that with some sort of script..

denomardin, you definitely want to stay away from software like that, especially if you're a newbie. I come across so many of them who think they can plug in some automated software that shoots out Tweets for them on autopilot without having to do anything else. Try starting the old-fashioned (manual) way, get the hang of how Twitter actually works, and THEN go out and get the software once you understand how it truly works!

My suggestion is to build links organically, trust me tiwtter will spot spamming quickly and any short gain gain you think you get will quickly evaporate

All programs or services that allow scheduled tweeting can be used for this I guess.

Maybe google 'schedule tweets', 'automatic tweet' etc.

I use hootsuite, although not every 5 minutes.

    I also use hootsuite.
Having read lots on this and with some experience, I would look at the demographic of your market, do some split testing in terms of when they are most likely to click on the links. Then you can tell which is the best time for your ads to be sent out.

There is a danger that your accounts will be banned by only sending out ads, so I would personally rotate a variety of different messages including using twitterfeed to auto post content. This then reduces the chance of you posts only looking like spam. As paulie888 said as well above, it is important that people see that you are active in the community, as if things are all automated, you will lose followers sooner or later.

If you do want to bulk upload messages and rotate, the best way that I have found of doing this is using socialoomph, where you can upload a .txt file with the tweets included. However they charge $29 per month for this service.
