How Do You Create A Banner Ad For A Affiliate Program

How would you guys create a banner add for a affiliate program when
they don't have one available.

Would taking a snapshot or screenshot of the web page work
and then resize it & make it clickable, if so how would I do it.

You could use your paint program on your computer. Or you can just outsource it.

Here is a simple step by step process of making a banner:

Banner Maker - Free Banner Creator for your website, Myspace, Facebook, and more!

    I hope it helps.

Ok there are a couple ways to go about doing this first if your lazy like me lol, you can go to Professional Banner Design, Web Banners, Flash Banners, Animated Banners and have one created for you or you can have someone from this very forum make one for you.

You can also use paint, paint.net or photoshop and do like you said get a image you like and resize it then save it. You then want to open a html editor and open your image. You can use blogger for this or wordpress.com, paste in your image or open it, then click on the image and insert a link in it with the little chain link Icon.

Once you insert your link then switch over to the source or html code and select all and highlight it, then copy and paste this code where you want it and test to make sure it works properly.

    snapshot, screenshot...paste into PaintShopPro.

Cut out what i want, maybe tweak a bit. Then import into "The Logo Creator", add text, more tweaks. Back into PaintShop, do final changes...save...

Sometimes i also render 3dcovers that way using boxshot3d.

Once you have the logo, banner etc. image....fire up MS Expression Web (or dreamweaver) which are HTML editors.

Then load the picture, and add hyperlinks to it. Then copy the code and copy/paste the code into my site.

How about taking a screen shot & resizing it & post this html code.

    <a href="URL"><img src="Image URL" border="0"></a>

    Or this one

    <ahref=http://abc.com title="Click Here to Get It Now!" ><imgsrc="http://www.abc.com/HTML-IMG.jpg" Border="0" ></A>

I posted an image add at backpage over the summer with one
of them, but not a banner add.

I'm quite handy on photoshop, and I usually use the logo in some way. You can pick up a version of photoshop called elements. It may be cheaper in the long run to pick up an older version and learn to use it. Once you are proficient you can usually knock them out in less than half an hour.
