DKIM the new Authentication King

So over the past few months it seems almost all the big ISP players are moving to DKIM over domain keys & MSN's SPF(SPF is garbage imo ) . I know for sure yahoo & gmail are committed to DKIM. I'm curious to hear if everyone is using DKIM at this point or plan on doing so in the coming months.
My experience with DKIM is not what it is suppose to be. The way DKIM is suppose to work is you build up a reputation on the d="somedomain.com" and not the ip. Once you feel the reputation is good and you dont have issues you can then add in other ips under the umbrella domain and the reputation will carry over and be lifted up by the good reputation. Well that doesnt seem to be happening.
When i add in a new ip it seems to have tons of issues getting rate limited or flat out blocked. So what I'm thinking is yahoo jumped the gun by broadcasting out that DKIM is fully in place. I've been trying to start up new ips for about 3 months now under their new rules with no real success.
If you have some good success or failures we can all learn from please post them up!

Yahoo uses DomainKeys. MSN uses the GoodMail cartel. Gmail refuses to admit what they use. AOL is lost.

How's that for summing it up?

No matter what you do, you can't really "spread" good reputation. You're either sending acceptable email...or not. And they will catch up with anyone depending on user complaints.

Well gmail is pretty hard to tell whats goin on there. Their filter is always in aggressive mode no matter what i seem to do. Atleast with yahoo its a semi clear tunnel with light at the end!

Well dealing with the complaints i get maybe 1-2 every 500 sent. that seems pretty low. Most days i dont receive a single complaint and ill go on for 2-3 weeks without issues and bam! YH stripes the ip with this 421 deferral message and permanetly marks the ip as junk. At that point your stuck with asking people to add you as a contact. IMO I dont think we should have to do this. Such small volume shouldnt require that.

dkim.org for some reason i cant post links. but check out this site.

Its just a way for us to authenticate our mail and also help block the bad mailers from piggy backing off your ips/domains.

Shocked yet again! It appears that all the mailers must be using some ESP or having someone setup their infrastructure!! Nobody can provide feedback
Where have all the Tech savy people gone!!
