Probably a dumb question about putting a CPA offer on one of my blogs.

I have a blog that gets pretty decent traffic for an organic site 300-400 UV a day but it is converting like crap for the CB product I am selling. It's the product, I can't really change it the site is built around it. I tried all of the products in that niche (it's small) and they all convert like crap. Anyway,

It has been getting consistent traffic for about a year now, the content is good and I got to thinking putting a CPA offer in my sidebar might be a good way to get a little something extra from the traffic.

I stuck a best buy gift card offer in the sidebar, it's nothing huge a 125x125 that links to a email/zip submit on the vendors page.

Anyway my question is is Google going to look down on this if I get a human review or is this pretty common? I am just getting into CPA and I don't know much about putting offers on Blogs...

Are there any rules or anything I should be cautious of doing?

    selling ad and you are worrying google penalty ?? unlikely... site owner needs to pay bill too... i would suggest using the nofollow attribute... so you are selling the clicks not the PR... that would get you covered

    If you have a human review of a CPA offer and it is written,Google is going to like the review. I may get mauled for that comment. I am not a Google expert and I know that is what you want but I took a look at your blog and it all revolves around something that is free. I happen to use the Free Traffic System myself but I would not expect to make money on it so by all means do the CPA review. Obviously this is just an opinion and you wanted something scientific with statistics. Sorry I don't have it.

    I doubt friend putting up a CPA offer is not bad at all, just handle with extra caution on where you place such offer, and in any case its a good sigh you have a steady number of visitors, try backling your pages might get higher

    Oh, it's another site not the FTS blog. I have not done much with that one yet. Thats why I am getting into CPA. It's just too damn much work keeping 30 blogs ranked organically...

    Anyway I am thinking that stupid little offer should be good for 30 bucks a day or so, that would be cool I have other sites that are in the same boat.
