Yahoo!Answers for Traffic

Hi Everyone,

I'm relatively new to IM. I joined a bloggin team with a friend in the Personal finance niche. We're excited to have reached a pr3

We're also pretty excited because YahooAnswers has really started to drive traffic to the site.

I'll tell you what I'm doing, and if any more seasoned IM vets have any suggestions, please let me know.

Because we're in the personal finance niche, I advance search 'personal finance' or 'debt'

Tons of other peoples' questions appear and I answer them in this way

1. Introduce myself as having experience as a financial consultant

2. Answer the question to the best of my ability, with or without using the provided reasearch search engine.

3. Close off sying I hope the advice helped and if they'd like further information on how to manage money, they can visit our website

4. Attach 3rd party links to give my answer credibility (I use the URL of where I've found the information to answer and also dave ramsey's site or the wealthy baber's)

5. Attach a link to our Blog

6. Preview and submit the post

One thing to make sure the successful traffic continues, is to follow the community guidelines Yahoo sets out, and to answer questions regularly. I try to answer at least one question per day.

I hope this helps, and if you have any suggestions, I'm open.

Cheers,
#traffic #yahooanswers

There is a program called Answer Me which might help you out. Basically you load a list of keywords and set how often the program will check for new Yahoo Answer questions of your keywords. It's rather impressive really.

    Anyways here is the link:

    Hey Guy,

You have to watch putting your own links directly into the post. Sometimes Yahoo can see this as a violation of their TOS and you could get banned lol

You wanna be careful using Yahoo Answers.

You can drive a lot of traffic until they ban you. You can get banned for no reason.

You may put some significant amount of work in answering questions and then one day - BANG - all your stuff is gone.

Do you suppose you could have given me this advice let's say 5 hours sooner. lol Account deactivated. Not sure why.

There is nothing worse than putting hours into something that just vanishes and you never know if you ever reaped ANY rewards from it.

I'm going to read the Terms Of Service a little more carefully as Yahoo! won't let me know why they've deactivated the account.

Even though it's a pain to set up a new account, the traffic will prove to be worth it. Darn frustrating though.

Well, we all struggle and succeed together. Thanks for the advice.

    Hi guys

i use yahoo answers a lot and find it very useful. Not only is it great for driving traffic to your sites but its also this amazing research tool. Yahoo answers is very popular and if you are looking for niches you can just view the questions that are being constantly asked and write an ebook on it.

I do a lot of internet marketing for offline clients and always throw in 20 yahoo answers (best answers) to the package bookmark them and twitter them and its amazing how high they rank.

Just think if someone asks how to lose weight fast and you ranked on the first page imagine the traffic you would get!

Here is a free ebook about it that may help out newbies to yahoo answers and this is what i followed first:

find out how to use yahoo answers to make money online free ebook explains all

    Kind regards

To be quite honest Guy G., Yahoo Answers can be very frustrating. You may read the TOS very closely and obey everything - however, they will still ban your account.

The effort you put in is at high risk.

There are others ways of getting traffic like articles and adding content etc.

Some people do have success with Yahoo answers - but I think they answer 20 questions a day and only have their link to their site on one of the questions.
