Default Free Microsoft Products

Thought you all might find this interesting. Microsoft gives all their products (windows versions, server, etc) away for free to software developers. Its their small business start up program, so even if you develop software for the IM niche, you can take advantage of this. A friend of mine has an average normal DJing website and was able to get Windows 7 for free, since he said he is developing a DJing software.

Hey Ms./Mrs. Rebecca, is there a link that we can go to in order to find more information? If so, let us know...

THANKS!

Hi Rebecca, You mean "Dreamspark" program of MS ? That is limited to educational free licenses. And if you mean by Express editions or HeroesHappenhere program then those are not complete products but more of promo versions but can be used to get work done. I'm into programming, going to launch few asp apps soon for IM Niche using express editions.

Yep, I believe this is the Microsoft BizSpark program. You have to partner with a hosting company to build a SaaS business model. Meaning, you are building a web application where people can subscribe to via the 'Net.

If I am not mistaken, all that you have to pay is just $100 after 2 years.

Here are some hosting companies that you can work with for BizSpark

PEER 1 - Microsoft BizSpark
GoGrid : Cloud Hosting Partner for MIcrosoft Bizspark Startups
ServePath: Your Premiere Microsoft BizSpark Hosting Provider
Business Web Hosting Services

This is a global program. That means, even if you are in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, China, you can apply for this...

Foldees.com participated in BizSpark. They offer postcard solutions...
