Morning show is talking about ebooks taking over. I'll take a billion please. ![]() Some authors are afraid of losing with digital content (Harry Potter author). Kindle was highlighted as well. Anyone here adding books to Kindle? Is it worth it for IM niche ebooks? |

I've read in one of the posts stating that people are selling about 15 - 20 ebooks per day when they just started to tap onto the huge traffic of Amazon. Is it me or others feel the same way? When things start to be broadcast with huge exposure, it's time to shift focus as sooner or later it'll become a commodity. My guess is: it'll probably be a super fantastic way to build fast lists using $7 ebook concept Regards, Darren |

Clickbank alone makes 26,000 digital transactions per day. Let's assume a conservatively low average cost of $20. That's $520,000 per day or 189 million per year. For CB alone. I reckon it's already a billion dollar business when you add together pdf ebooks we know plus the newer books to be read on handheld devices. |

If only one could download an ebook, push a button and out pops a real book. When I want to store it away push another button and it goes back in the device. For some reason a real physical book is all I want to read. I find it hard to read on a computer or other device. Perhaps not all feel that way or sales would not be so strong.

Scott, This is possible. All you need is a spare $75K, or so. ![]() Jason Epstein, a former editorial director–40 years at Random House–and author of "Book Business: Publishing Past, Present, and Future", is a major proponent of this book business model. Epstein has been pushing this idea for over ten years. He is also involved with the Espresso Book Machine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia which will permit "push button" publishing. Quote:

Hmm... Interesting. Have you guys heard though of the digital newspaper? About 4-5 years old already, but you can 'download' a newspaper onto a piece of paper. |

Of course, it's probably going to cost way more than a Kindle, but just look at how well some people made out with iPhone apps... | |
