Timetable for a successful launch

Right now my latest product is completed, as is the website and sales copy. Now I'd like to do my first full-blown launch, with JV partners, etc.

I went to Jeff Walkers site to buy PLF2 but it is not released yet and the first one is closed.

Can anyone please recommend a good launch resource where I could learn:
1. What needs to be done?
2. How long each task generally takes?
3. If I were to set a launch date today, what would I need to take into consideration?

Thank you.

If it's still available, I'd go for "Niche Prophecy". Very good step by step blueprint.

Rich Schefren of strategicprofits.com might still be offering bonuses for referring people to his latest report.

The bonuses include all his communications for his product launches over the course of a year. Great for modeling. He's Jeff Walkers business optimization coach.

Also Paul Hancox has a free WSO where he discusses the top 10 things he learned from Frank Kern's Mass Control Launch. Great Stuff

The main strategies driving Jeff Walker product launch style are:
    1. Break up the persuasion elements of a salesletter and deliver them over time.
    2. Give valuable freebies
    3. Get feedback from people during the pre-launch and address those issues in your communications and product. If your doing a JW style launch your not really finished with your product yet. But that's a good thing, because you'll create more loyal repeat buyers this way.

Again, go get Paul's free report on Frank Kern in the WSO section

Just a quick FYI... I'm going to do a quick re-release of PLF 2.0 in November.
