How to Win in 2010 and Beyond

Hi all...

I've been away form the forums here for a couple of years...there were lots of personal things going on in my life that pulled me away from online marketing at the level I was once at (wont bore everyone with details...but a few of you here knew my situation and stuck by me..for that I thank you)...but this year I've jumped back in with both barrels blazing...

Hopefully some stuff I've been thinking can motivate you so here you go:

What drives you? That is one of questions I have been asking myself lately. Now this is something we all need to figure out in every aspect of our life. But as was putting my business plan together for the coming year I kept thinking...Why am I even doing this? I've been online for 6 years (give or take) and I've made a bunch of money, I know how the system works, I know the formulas...niche research, landing page, giveaway, link to product, list building, blah, blah, blah...When you get down to it can get pretty formulaic and boring...I was stuck in a rut...

Then I realized my focus was on the program...it was on the vehicle carrying me and not the goal. It's kinda like going on vacation. We drive down to FL and PA a lot. But if I spend all my time making sure the car is washed and oil is changed and thinking about the next stop of gas, how long the drive is, and loose site of the fact that I am going to a place that I love to be, I've lost the goal. The trip has now become tedious...

We are all on a journey to something. We started out trying to make money online of some reason or another. Whether it was to quit our job, have more time with the kids, travel, what ever, there was a reason for it.( I even knew one couple that got started with their own business so they could afford to get a divorce**)

So my challenge to myself and to every one here it to keep your goal in site. Write it down, make it your screen saver on your computer...whatever. Just don't loose that passion the you first...the ride may get long and boring...but keep that driving goal right in front of you...and never quit!!!

**side note...that couple succeeded with their business years ago and last I heard are very happily married...true story)
