How many new Warriors sign up to this forum daily?

Hi folks,

I guess the only people to know this are Allen Says (obviously) and the mods perhaps? But I was just wondering out of curiosity, how many new Warriors sign up to this forum on a daily/weekly basis?

Would love to know!

Nick

Look at the total members today and at the same time look again and then look at how many there was. Do it for a week and your get a rough average.

I see new members in pretty much every thread I browse, every day of the week. At a rough guess, I'd say at least 200 new members per day, maybe I'm wrong though.

At the time of this post, the current number of Members: 169,884

Let's go from there and see how many members there are next week at this time...

Place your bets... how many new members do you think will have joined in a weeks time?

Yeah, must be close to that for sure. I really am interested to find out though!

When you sell to other members, this data can come in useful. For example, it gives me an insight from a marketing perspective as to the potential size, longevity, lifespan and turnover for niche markets in our community, and potential products within those niches.

OK, so it's almost 24 hours later... current number of Members: 170,091

    - 169,884 = 207 new members since yesterday.

    Great guess Liam!

I just checked the main forum list page for the number of people viewing each forum and one thing impressed me in a couple of ways. The main forum, here where I spend most of my time, has 680,

    the wso forum, 1329 (!)

    and website design 25

Guess the wso section is doing booming business and the working on websites part gets just token visitors. Of course that couldn't possibly be important and besides it's a bit of work. But then maybe a wordpress forum would get more visitors than web design.

I'd guess somewhere around 20-50 sign up to the War Room each day It should be around 207 though

I signed up a while ago, but am just now getting into IM. I'm thinking of joining the War Room - quite a reasonable price - I have expected it to be more. Do some members set up a second username to go "incognito" - so as not to tip off the competiton when posting threads on certain niches?

207 new members per day...man, that's got to be a record, not just in IM, but in general!

I bet Allen is KILLING it with WSOs and the like.

It's amazing to think, if 200 + people are signing up for just one forum, how many marketers are out there on the web right now? This market must be expanding rapidly...

I think there are a lot of IM hopefuls - like me. At least in the beginning. I joined over a year ago, and used to visit here as a guest before that. And I'm only now getting into Internet Marketing, still quite a newbie though.

There are usually more guests on than members so you have to figure those hundreds of guests daily will eventually sign up. Probably a hundred or so.

Another 24 hours later... current number of Members: 170,337

    - 170,091 = 246 new members since yesterday.

Wow, that's quite a jump from Tuesday's 207 new members...

It will be very interesting to see which days of the week get the most signups...

huge numbers, but you also have to take into consideration how many people sign up on a whim...and don't come back.

So very true. I signed up over a year, on a whim. Did the odd post here and there, but did read the posts from time time without actually posting anything. It's only now that I'm actually getting more active on here and taking advantage of this valuable resource.

Then again, like with any forum, there will always be people who join on a whim and don't come back, or even forget that they joined.

Ok, well that's 526 days and an increase of approx 80,500 members.

So that averages at approx 150 per day.

However, it looks like at the moment there are far more daily sign ups.

Can you imagine between 150 and 200 people walking through your living room or office right now? Can you imagine standing in a room of 200 people? Even though a lot of big numbers get thrown around this place, that doesn't change the fact that 150-200 is a LOT of people.

I asked this question originally because I noticed how busy the WSO section is these days. We're looking at around 1000 viewers in that place on average, at any one time.

Now imagine standing in a room full of 1000 people and pitching your WSO! Yikes!

This forum is getting major traffic! It's all good for the community (apart from the spammers and trolls of course!)

It's an excellent and scary point Nick.

I think this market is expanding massively at an intimidating rate. There is plenty of opportunity out there for people who are capable of creating some good products and selling the heck out of them.

It's crazy to think the WSO section is getting so many views though. 1k on average!? That's nuts!
