An Article A Day - See Where it Takes You

Anyone interested in committing to one article a day? I haven't seen such a thread here in awhile. We can share for what purpose we're using article marketing, how many we are committing per day and then share our results.

I'm committing to an average of two per day. I won't get two done every day but I want to average that.

Right now I am using article marketing for backlinks mainly. My articles will have the same general topic but not necessarily my website ranking keywords. My websites are ranking between 8 and 15 for most keywords.

For my experience keep posting everyday is way better than submitting 20 per week, so you should get some good results.
Posting different versions of the same article after getting approved in EZA is also a good way to get more back-links.
I'm also trying to improve my Adsense earnings with HubPages and I'm getting some pretty good results, perhaps you should try that too.

    Good luck

I am commiting to writing 3 articles a day. I used to outsource them but find that writing them myself tends to "ingrain" things about my niche into my head.

It's been going well since I started New Years.

I write 2 sometimes 3 articles per day and they do become much easier to write the more you do. I also agree that it does help to ingrain a lot of information regarding your niche by doing this.

I make sure that the first thing I do each day is write and post the 2 articles before I allow myself to do anything else and I am slowly getting some good results form doing this

For people writing 2-3 articles per day, what results are you getting, some numbers would be nice .

I currently aim to submit 5 per week per website, at the moment that works out at submitting 35 a week. I will then also ensure that I post at least 1 new blog post a week.

I would full recommend writing a list of weekly tasks that you want to achieve, I check them off as I complete them. It allows you to be more organized and also allows you to keep track of what you are doing

How long does it take you to write an article? Are you submitting to several directories? Are you looking for traffic from your articles or mainly backlinks?

                Hello

It depends on the article if im honest and the subject. I write for 4 different niches, therefore I am not writing about the same subject so that it is a little easier. If I do not have to research much then I can get a 250-300 article done in 15 or so minutes.

Typically I get out around 12 a day done, sometimes more and sometimes less.

At the moment I mostly submit to Ezine although I have submitted to other directories. When Ezine are reviewing a batch of say 12 articles, Ill continue working on more and rewrite the ones already in there and submit these to other directories.

I aim to get both back links and traffic from articles. I would prefer to spend an extra 10 minutes making an article look better, sound better and get a sale from it. This would result in a sale and 2 back links, instead of just doing it for the backlinks

I suppose it depends on the products your promoting, if your promoting low commission products then doing it for backlinks might be more cost effective. If your getting $25-$100 a sale then traffic is also a good aspect

                Hope that helps

spend the $100 and buy Nuance's Dragon Speech Recognition software.

it works pretty darn good and I tell you, you can bang out a 400 word article in 5 minutes. i'm not kidding, it transcribes at 160 word a minute.

i've used it for a couple of weeks now and it's fantastic.

Use Shopzilla.com and find it for under $60 bucks. You can also call up stores like Fry's, Office Depot, Staples, Best Buy, etc. to see if they have any sales going on. I remember picking up a few copies at Best Buy for under $40 a couple years ago. Tiger Direct has the basic "essentials" version for about $60 at the moment. Shop around and you'll never have to pay retail.

You may as well join the HAHD challenge there. You are only a few days behind and I'm sure you can catch up.

I belted out 7 this morning and got lazy after that.

The challenge seems good - participation will come as a by-product. I will be writing under different names so I probably wont write enough under one name to qualify. What I was hoping for was to get more comments on how writing an article a day has changed/improved our business.

lioncirth/avenuegirl: I have never been able to do more than 5 in a day - that's great! I wish I could be so efficient. (And I have speech recognition and PLR that I can rewrite.)

It's a love hate relationship with me and articles, through my own experiences, I get a better CTR with my own articles (ones I have written) than I do with ones that I outsource. I think this is mainly due to the fact that I haven't yet found a really good writer that I can trust.

I'm going to commit to writing 1 a day, but I'm just working on the last of my sales page and sign-up process before I can start doing this.

Either way I'm interested to see what I can achieve and no doubt I'll share it with all the warriors when I get some good results

I write one article per day and post one blog post per day. I have been doing this for about a week and a half now with a new blog, just trying to load it with content.

I have not been having much success lately but I am hoping it will change.

One Article, One Press Release and One Video Per Day. Try that for 90 Days. It's not much work but I tend to see people being lazy sometimes, including myself. When I have kept to this schedule, sales are up, big time !!!

The only bummer for me in regard to the challenge is that the articles have to be 400 words or more. I write a fair amount of winery reviews which typically come in between 300 and 400.

I will give it a shot and see where it takes me, I'm sure the consistent effort that it causes leads to big results.
