Why are my links in yahoo answers not "hot"

I have been posting good relevant answers to peoples questions in yahoo answers today. The first one I did linked in the "sources" section but all subsequent post have had the text but it is not a clickable link.

Is this just to keep spammers away? Will those links go live at some point? Can a link to a site only go up once or once a day?

What is the best way to use yahoo answers for both links and traffic while being helpful and not spamming?

    Reach Level 2. Once your at Level 2, your links will be live. Make sure you dont spam...and try not to have your link in every answer. Add a few answers without the source box.

    you should reach level 2 for your link to be click able.you should get 250 points to reach level 2.
    not only answering questions you should ask questions frequently for not looking like spam.
    unless you violate community guidelines your answers will be live for ever.
