I don't think you can get into a good cpa network with just an ebook.

I have also completed my ebook and was considering PayPal. There are probably fewer hassles.

So if I decide to use PayPal, all I'd have to do is place a PayPal button on my website?

I'm not happy about CB return policy either, but I need to allow people to JV on this.

That's easy, you can set up a page to take your customers to after they pay, but it won't stop people from sharing the links.

You should also figure out a way to control downloads, I was looking at this:

            tinyurl.com/ydqd8ru

(I have not tested it yet, just getting started on my research)

lol, Im sorry but this cracks me up everyones complaining about the refund policy? Ive been selling on clickbank for months now and out of 120 + orders I have only had 3 refunds. If your worried about refunds that bad that apparently your product does not provide enough value.

Honestly I would go clickbank if you think you have a solid product and you stand behind it. A simple 60 day refund should not make you shiver in your boots just saying. My vote is for clickbank paypal can be a real pain if you think your going to be asked for refunds alot

I agree. We have had like 1 refund on one of our products after it being up for nearly 3 years now. And that refund I believe was because they had done a double order.

Clickbank is easiest and the best option for starting. There are too many others thing you are going to have to deal with so let clickbank do the customer service part. You can always change later down the line..but generally if you expect to get lots of refunds either build a better product or let clickbank deal with it. You will only get annoyed with dealing with refund requests yourself and if you go with something like paypal people can just set up disputes anyway and get their money back.

      Totally agree.

I have a product on CB with oddly enough the same sort of statistics as you Sean, over 100 sales and only 3 refunds.

As Sean mentioned if you really are worried about the refund policy perhaps go back to the drawing board and create a product that has a low refund rate, by this I mean a quality product.

I love your "holier than thou" attitude.

        Congrats on the 100 sales

    If I'm offering an ebook...
people download it, get it, and it's exactly what I promised, but they ask for a refund...
and clickbank bends over and gives it to them unconditionally...

    they ripped me off.

My only concern is that ClickBank will not protect me in any way at all.

Although, I did just $5000 in sales over the last 36 hours and Paypal locked my account for "review", effectively tying up ALL of my money rather than just what ClickBank would have refunded, so...

    lol

Clickbank is the way to go. Don't worry about refund. That is expected. The goal is to have killer product at the right price to reduce refund rate. It will happen in any market.

I have a few products in clickbank but don't expect clickbant to promote it for you. They can add you in the marketplace for affiliates to find.. but you have to be proactive in getting your own affiliates.

if it is digital product, CB for sure

i would not recommend doing CPA for physical goods if you are just starting out

the cost is really high, also the risks

Clickbank always gets my vote. From 126 sales, no refunds so far!
If you create a solid product full of value you shouldn't need to worry about the refund issue too much.

Also once you pay the first $49.95 activation fee for your first vendor account you can set up multiple vendor accounts for a discount.

Well done on your sales, keep up the good work!
    Steve.
