Need massive traffic fast, any ideas?

Hello, I'm pretty much brand new to internet marketing. My brother has a massive product launch going and he's offered to give me a 10% cut of all affiliates I can snag him for his product launch and 60% of any direct sales I can send him. Last night I posted on 12 forums with an affiliate link (most of them actually passed the ol' spam test). My brother tells me he doesn't want 12 "links". He wants 1,000. Any ideas? What would you do?

    If he wants 1000, he should be able to tell you how to get them. Otherwise, don't expect anything in this business to be "fast". It's just like any other business...built over time, through trusted relationships and hard work. IM is no different than any other business. Anybody that tells you otherwise is either a genius or full of crap. I'd advise you error toward the latter.

        To get the attention of hungry crowds, nothing can beat PPC...

        But learning PPC is like learning to play the guitar. Don't expect to be able to play like "The Ventures" or the "Crazy Rockers" without a certain amount of aptitude and flair, and of course, a passion to make it.

        I think that could just be your opinion.

        I use ppc in my marketing campaigns but i dont believe that it is the best form in my advertising.

        I do much better with social media and phone broadcasting.

        But thats also my opinion.

        I dont think there is a better way to get tons of traffic.

        It just depends on what you have learned and mastered in time.

    A large group of most users on a forum will be able to notice that the links were affiliate links. Advertising that way isn't what I'd consider very targeted and not likely to convert as high as if you were targeting the user base that the product would provide a solution for. Google AdWords is an avenue of traffic generation that you might want to take a look at, it doesn't get much easier to drive targeted traffic than that.

      You'll get fast traffic with PPC, but there is a learning curve - especially if you don't have a particularly large budget. Get your hands on a good PPC guide, and study it thoroughly.

        The fastest he can get in a targeted PPC ads.

        I have learned to run several Google ads at the
        same time. Test and track these ads, loose the
        ones that don't preform, improof the winners.

        I agree with above posts, takes times to learn
        paid ads, but really the fastest traffic is to buy
        it.

    I wouldnt consider myself a Pro being an IM but the one thing I have learned
    you get nothing for nothing. Paid advertising will get you better results than
    posting links in forums and free advertising sites [traffic exchanges, safelists, text ads]

    It may behoove you to purchase some advertising to generate the traffic, leads, sales that you need to make the commissions he has offered you. You can always write off your advertising costs as a business expense.

    I suggest joining the War Room Here. There are many great ideas in there for generating traffic.

    Spamming forums with your affiliate link won't work.

    Online business requires time to build. However, if you need a lot of traffic, there are two ways that you can do.

    1. Joint venture with someone in that niche that are looking for product to promote.

    2. PPC

    Everything else takes a while to build
