Advice on Selling Software

So I already have a successful product (phpLD), and we have recently finished phpLD shop (does digital downloads). I was thinking I might do an affiliate program, but I have never tried this before. Any advice on setting up something like this?

    If you're looking for a "hands off" type of affiliate program for digital goods, then you would be hard pressed to beat ClickBank. Everything is automated, and they have a built-in army of affiliates.

    Other than that, just make it as easy as possible for your affiliates to promote you. Give them lots of different tools on your affiliate resources page - prewritten email promos, articles, Adwords ads, banner ads, etc.

    Thanks for the advice. Any good examples of something similar you have seen where they have created a nice package for the affiliates to use?
    (not sure I want to use clickbank. I would rather run my own if it is feasible)
