Has eBay lost it's selling power for IMers?

It was only a few short years ago that you could trawl through eBay and find a number of high ticket products that would sell like gang busters.

Now we all know Dan Kennedy stuff sells, but I do remember when other programs ($1000+) would readily sell on there too.

Has eBay lost it's selling power now do you think?

Do 'Extra Income Opportunists' not bother with eBay any more?

Has the 'physical products only' rule turned all the product creators/marketers away?

Perhaps some of the more seasoned marketers here would care to comment.

I realise that a hype-hype-launch approach is probably more powerful up front and profitable in the short term, but some people have products that could still be sold in hard copy 2-3 years after they were created.

Has anyone else researched eBay recently as an avenue for selling high ticket stuff?

I used to do pretty well selling information products on feebay, but I don't even bother with them anymore. They charge too much and have too much competition to make a decent profit on most items unless you can afford to do bulk purchases or have really good sources for products.
