Could Someone Explain to Me How Twitter Helps Niche Sites

how twitter can help my niche sites? I have highly targeted niche sites and I don't understand how having a twitter can help those sites? I'm ASSUMING (and you know what that means) that I sign up for a separate twitter account for each website, go out and add followers who have the same interest then put out tweets about what's new on the website?

Is there a way to automate this?

    Hi SoEasyMoney,

Some people do use Twitter the way you've described. I let those folks pop in here with tips for that strategy.

However, look at your potential followers on Twitter. I bet a lot of them are promoting their own stuff in your niche, right? And that means one of the most powerful ways you can use Twitter is to develop relationships with potential JV partners.

    Cheers,
    Becky

      I use tweetadder, highly recommended.

Use the search function - type in your keyword and solve peoples problems.

Also tweet several times a day using your keyword to reverse the last step.

Also use tweetadder to send an auto response so that when people add you after you follow them they will know about what you do.

All this is automated with the tool - im not a partner
      either lol

Indeed, I use separate twitter accounts for separate products and then contact over JV partners and interact with people in my niche.

      No problem.

Keep in mind that if you use this strategy, you're not just blasting out a bunch of one-way Tweets. Instead, get involved in conversations. Reply to other people's tweets. DM people to introduce yourself and genuinely compliment or comment on something to do with their site, their tweets, etc.

In other words, build two-way relationships.

      Cheers,
      Becky

Remember to use twitter as a relationship tool in your internet marketing campaigns.

More and more twitter folks are getting fed up with following people that tweet link after link after link. Because of this the average twitter user is likely getting more savvy and particular with who they choose to follow.

I don't use twitter in the make money online niche because it's being ruined by marketers desperate to make a quick buck or a thousand churning out tweets faster than they can type!

In fact another marketer who I was speaking to on a skype call the other day nailed it for me. "twitter was fine until internet marketers decided to get involved with it."

With that said I know that if used correctly twitter can be a valuable and profitable avenue for any internet marketer.

The key words here though are 'used correctly'.

    Garry.

I just updated my WSO to include an automated twitter posting. It will automate your blog post with a link back to your site.

Nice ive just written a wordpress plugin that messages - twitter, tumblr, delicious and diigo. In addition it will randomly send a link using a text file with some 20 odd differnet tweets in it at the min (No limit).

It will also auto create bit.ly links so you can get the most out of the 140 char restriction imposed by twitter.

Next stage of the develpment will be to get it to schedule postings over time periods. I got this idea after reading a useful article on auto scheduled blog articles. It was all about 21 day schedules for niche sites and it made alot of sense.

I think wordpress is a fantastic environment for advancing ideas without the hassle of creating a well made site to kick off with.

I dont work for wordpress BTW - lol

Im sure we can come to some kind of arrangement for a copy of the plugin
