Ezinearticles vs Articlesbase..an update

I am not any kind of pro at all but this is what I have discovered. I have two articles that are both on the 2nd page of google. Actually articlesbase beat ezine on that second page and both were released on the same day (amazingly for me) Well funny enough the ezine article has 4x times the views on my site and on the article sites. There is alot more to ezine than seo. Actually i dont think seo matters at all with ezine. I have had sales from both articlesbase and ezine on the same topic. I have discovered for me since last year

1. Ezine readers: Only 20% find you from google or seo..they find me from ezine site and will buy ( I have one article that still has a 48% click through after 1 year and it has never appeared anywhere on google..no matter how much i bookmarked it..i also had good sales from it)

2. Article base 5 articles will equal 1 ezine article but they also will buy..but it takes more articles to produce the sale.

These are just my observations..from my site

    Interesting results.

May I ask what the niche and or product is?

Every day I check the obituaries. If I don't see my name there, then I know it's going to be a good day!

Interesting observation - thank you for that. I'm working on article marketing now and it's good to know that people will buy. It's also interesting that most of your EZA buyers are coming internally through EZA.

    Hi,

The www is a strange place, what I know from my backlink buildign is that articlesbase has nofollow and eza not. This would give articlesbase a boost in rankings since they are not loosing their link juice.
I my self love eza and goarticles.

Should I get into articlesbase also?

    Take Care

Yes...We can see a highly increase of ArticlesBase articles when it comes to SERPS nowadays. Just take take your articles which were already submitted to EZA , change their title a lil bit and put them on ArticlesBase. You will kill two birds at one stone,,,

Good way to get your account suspended at EZA ... just a heads up.

Not at all. You can submit YOUR ezinearticles all over the web and the other way around. I submit my Ezine articles to 300+ directories, or rather I submit my own content from blogs and websites to article directories and Ezine is just one of them.

That's not true. You can even submit to Ezine as a duplicate as long as you can prove you are the author where they find the duplicate on the net (which means you have to have your name in the article - happened to me on Hubpages when I posted on Hubs first and then put them on Ezine. They zinged me for duplicate and then I added my name to the Hubs and they then accepted them)

WHY would you EVER say that?

As long as the article is associated with YOUR NAME, you can submit it anywhere you like.

It's also a good idea to wait until EA has accepted and published your article, then submit it to other directories and places.

You're way off with this remark, just so you know.

There is a new one that I like. It is too early in my article life to have any comparative information, but I do like www.distributeyourarticles.com. They have been very prompt and helpful. I am just beginning this article caper and feel they have been invaluable with their help. I will expand but feel more confident now.

Yep, submit your article to your site, then to EZA, wait for it to be approved and then take that article and submit it to as many other article directories as you can without repsinning it.

You won't get banned at all...
