Reliable Hosting Service?

Hello, I am trying to find a reliable hosting service. It must be free and have both cron jobs and a script installer(like fantastico). It can't force ads. Does anybody know what I'm looking for? Thanks, Jay

    He's asking for free hosting.

I'm not aware of any free hosts which could be considered reliable.

keep outta Free Hosts..All your efforts can be in vain when the free host shuts down your account without a reason...so try a reliable shared hosting for a low fee.

Definitely go with paid hosting, especially if you're running an online business. BlueHost and HostGator both have great services and very low rates. I personally use an all in one solution that costs a little more $20 per month but it comes with autoresponders and other features that any serious Internet marketer needs.

Bottom line is there is affordable quality hosting out there and I'd pick those any day over free hosting.

I use both BlueHost and GoDaddy.

I personally like GoDaddy better, but that might be because I have used them for years. I can host multiple domains on one account for $6.95 a month, but I am limited to 25 wordpress MySQL DBs.

So I bought more hosting with BlueHost. They are limited by 10 MySQL DBs for wordpress, so that will take a while to use up I didn't like that I had to pay for a whole year up front.

But I agree. Don't go with free hosting when you can get quality hosting for less than $10 a month. Just my thoughts after having tried both free and paid hosting.

This is very good advice. And not just any paid hosting, you want the most reliable and dependable hosting you can find.

I would highly recommend paid hosting services if you're serious about your internet marketing. Free tends not to survive that long, even giant like GeoCities are forced to closed its doors

Jay originally asked for a recommendation on a reliable free hosting service.

I don't think anyone is trying to smear free hosts.

The consensus seems to be that if you're planning on running an online business then paid hosting is the way to go.

I just signed up for a host named MagmaHost.com...

Awesome support! They resolved all my issues within few hours. Got answers to queries within minutes. They even helped me move my content over from the old server for Free.

It's a mere $5.00/year with the Coupon Code "50off" for the Starter Package (8 GB space, 40 GB Bandwidth). They also provide script installation on their servers for $5.

    Sumit.

The best FREE hosting avilable, is FreeHostia, there site can be found here:

Free web hosting, affordable and low-cost hosting, cheap domain registration

You can install scripts, have a wordpress blog and they are ad free. The only bad thing is your hosting is on a sub-domain.

Now, if you want an unbeatable paid hosting, then JustHost.com is the best there is. Unlimited bandwidth, Unlimited GB's of Space, Unlimited Domain Hosting and much more. Furthermore, if you use the coupon code 50OFF, you will get the entire package for $2.95 per mth or $106.20 for 3 years of hosting. Another coupon too use is FREEDOMAIN. For a free domain registrar.

I'll consider giving you free hosting if you tell me what you want to host
so that I know it is not high-risk. You'll be able to run Cron Jobs.

The only thing is, if you don't know Cpanel/Fantastico already or are
not willing to read the tutorials, this option won't work for you because
I will not spend hours supporting you if you are not paying. lol

There's an old saying, "you get what you pay for," so if the hosting is free then I wouldn't expect much. In the long run, it would definitely be wise to go with a paid hosting account with a company like BlueHost or HostGator, or one of the others already mentioned by other members.
