Instruction for a Blank Slate

Hello everyone. I was looking for a noob/welcome/introduction section in the forum but I did not see one, I apologize if I over looked it, posting in the wrong section, or some such thing.

I'll save my back story, but it comes down to having some medical problems that make it tough to have any kind of normal job. I have often seen ads or received random emails about work at home on the internet and adwords/adsense and what not.

Last night I couldn't sleep and ended up looking through all those programs again that are out there and came across this forum. I'm glad I did because I'd like to learn about these opportunities, but would never spend the money just buying those programs to try them out without being able to find legit reviews, which I couldn't.

I'm looking to be able to work 4 or 5 hours a day once I get started. I'm a complete noob and know absolutely nothing about these things. I have downloaded some free ebooks off that section of this forum but haven't read any of them. I wanted to find out some suggestions for very basic beginner system or ebook. I've spent time looking through the WSO section and this section and I'm just lost. I'm pretty sure I want to stay away from writing articles, at least for a while. Maybe once I get other money coming in. I'm also not looking to start off making a whole lot so I can start slow, which is good as I have very little money to start off with.

    I hate to toot my own horn, But you could do well with CPV traffic (And you can get started with a very low budget).

    You'll need an affiliate program to promote first; I dont talk much about that. I would start out with CPA offers, as those work the best with CPV.

    If you need any help, just ask in the thread (or pm me). It's one of the best starting points; especially right now with google being a little unpredictable.

    A few tips:

    DONT run any email submit/weight loss type offers. Try your luck with more legitimate offers like stubhub, maxim, wall street journal, etc.

    Seo, PPC, etc.. are all fantastic; but SEO can takes awhile to implement, and PPC can burn a whole in your pocket really fast if you dont know what your doing.

    Thanks, I've read part way through your link. It looks really nicely laid out and simple. Unfortunately, I'm completely new, starting with nothing. So I've got to learn about researching and niches and affiliate groups and whatever else there is before getting into the next step of actually advertising. I didn't realize so many people kept adware on their pc's. I run linux in part because browser hijackers really tick me off big time.

    So why not run email submit/weight loss? I'll look up stubhub and not sure how to get the other kind of offers you list.

    P.S. SEO as in Search Engine Optimization?

    I taught myself HTML back in 1995 I believe. It was the summer between my fifth and sixth grade. I have kept up with it, then CSS and all the upgrades and a SEO for a while. Then all the search engines changed up how they rank pages, and have only recently looked back into SEO, much more complicated these days.

      So any suggestions for a ground up program to take someone who doesn't know anything through at least an beginning setup? A WFO would be nice as they're are cheaper and support the community and have actual real feedback I can read. Going through the forums some more and reading other posts, just having problems feeling spacey and spacing out. bah hard to made sense of much right now

      Sorry, just eager to get started and don't want to start with bad information to that puts the wrong ideas or what not into my head

    I've looked at so many of these landing pages and downloaded so much of their free articles, not sure I'll get through it all but looking for more complete information. I'm also sick of these landing pages all looking so alike and gaudy maybe. meh.
