Hi warriors I joined this forum recently and so far everything is just beyond my imagination. I have already got many warm welcomes from the fellow warriors and a great deal of study material on Internet Marketing. I have read about various ways to earn money from internet. After going through Adsense,Adwords,Affiliate Marketing etc. I think I will go with Affiliate Marketing. This is what I have understood about AM: 1. Find a niche 2. Find a product 3. Use related forums for research. 4. Be a middleman between the customer and the Merchant. 5. Build a website 6. Get people to visit your website. Please suggest anything else i might be missing. Some Questions: What is CPA? Is it different from Afiliate Marketing? How can I earn money using CPA? Warrior Frorum is a treasure house of knowledge. I have learnt so much in a few days. Thanks to all you guys out there. Please give me some working plan that you followed when you were just starting. I don't have much money to invest so can you tell me some ways to generate residual income that i can use to build my online business. Thanks and wish you all great success. ![]() Deepk |

Affiliate marketing is a great way to get started and I also recommend using a funded proposal as well. Most people use clickbank to get started but you need to read their terms very closely. Some people complain about not being able to get their money out of clickbank until some terms are met. Good luck |

Take your time but not forever to decide your plan of action. Then do it, REview what happened then revise and go again. Good luck

Make sure you put a lot of study and effort into selecting the right niche before you do anything else. I would advise anyone when selecting a niche that it will be much easier to stay focused if you chose a niche that you are passionate about, even if you are not an expert on it. Once you are sure about your niche just find something to sell and do it. You will not learn unless you try it. If you read 100 books on how to ride a horse it does not mean that you can get straight on a horse and know how to ride it. It you have to take a few falls to really learn Also you do not have to pay out for a website and hosting to start affiliate marketing so do not let lack of funds prevent you getting started. You can use places like squidoo, hubpage and blogspot to set up your affiliate page for free to start with. |

Let me add two main steps: 7. Get visitors to your website on your mailing list. 8. Pitch your affiliate offers to your subscribers. --- In other words, don't just send your hard-earned traffic off to the vendor's sales pages. You'll probably never see that traffic again. Instead, focus on building a list of targeted leads. Then sell a whole sales funnel full of products to these leads. IN other words, build up an autoresponder series of evergreen offers and content, as well as sending them regular live (broadcast) messages (part content, part product recommendations). For example, let's say you're selling dog training stuff. You'd promote dog training books, videos and other info products to your subscribers. You'd also promote physical products like leashes, collars, agility courses and the like. --- Also, don't just send your prospects to a vendor's page. You need to pre-sell them. You need to make those prospects want the product before they even see the sales page. To do that, offer your personal review. Secondly, add value to your offers. That means giving people a bonus if they purchase -- now --- through your link. This bonus is usually something that's perceived to have a high value, but it's inexpensive and easy for you to deliver, like a free report or course. For example, anyone who buys an agility course through your link gets a free ebook or video about how to train a dog on an agility course. Another example: Someone who purchases a dog crate and a bottle of "Nature's Miracle" enzymatic spray gets a free housetraining report from you. cheers, Becky

I have to agree with the list building focus from R hagel, it is affiliate marketing. It's one of the least hassle, and low cost ways to make money quick start up cost: $18-$19 per month for autoresponder - get response has got some great feature like surveys and video emailing! $6.95-$10 per month host - I like hostgator great service $6-$10 for a domain for a year Here's what you do grab a plr product, add some extra value like new chapters and more content, make it unique. Go and get the graphics changed cost you about $30-40 bucks somoene on here could do it or go to the lancing websites, elance.com, guru.com etc and post the job. create squeeze page with image of product and an optin form now here is the missing link, go enter a few giveaway events ( basicaly you submit your squeeze page into a kind of promotion that gets tons of traffic all looking to download offers , so you build your list andthe event creator builds his) I started like that along with a whole bunch of guys I know This will build your list to around 200 super fast, then all you do is go to jv section of warrior forum and start negotiating adswaps, you will hit 1000 in just a few months if you swap 3x a week or so then just send them aff offers through clcik bank etc theo |

for that reason, my to do list would insert between 7 and 8, " write autoresponder sequence for topic" That gives me as many opportunities as I want to try to sell. If all you do is send to an affiliate page, you have only one opportunity.

I would not try to be expert at all these - its a lot of knowledge and it will take some time. I would probably outsource the ones you find hardest to master to fellow Warriors, there is always someone willing to help. Only you know what you find the most difficult. Another tip is to pick a method you are comfortable with and work at it. Good luck!

Get an aweber account, learn how to make an squeeze page. Then build traffic and send it to that squeeze page. Use article marketing, video marketing and web 2.0 from the start then use SEO on your own blogs and web properties for high rankings. Get enough subscribers, then feed them with good quality info, build trust, then when you have enough trust, send from time to time a recomendation to your affiliate offer (which it should be a good offer), then collect the money. |

I have started in October last year, and so far made about 300 $. My mistake was that I have entered the "make money online" niche with absolutely no experience and wasted money on some courses that didn't help me at all, just gave me info overload.. First advice: don't promote make money online products.. the competition is just too high Second advice: choose a niche where you can promote several different products.. Build a squeeze page where you offer something related to the niche for free in exchange for their e-mail.. and promote just the squeeze page.. That's the way I am building my list now in the women's health niche, I offer them a free book about yeast infections if they subscribe. I have set up a series of e-mail follow up messages - three e-mails are some articles and advice, then an offer, then articles again three times, then an offer.. I find the most difficult part of AM is getting traffic to your squeeze page. Here are some methods I use: Ezine Articles Articlesbase Yahoo Answers Forum posting (although it is difficult to find forums that allow signatures and links that promote other websites) Wiki How - editing related articles Social Marker Document upload with live links to Scribd, Docstoc and Slideshare Although I have over 50 articles published and over 100 documents uploaded it still gives me just about 10 subscribers a day.. |

Are you looking for a business opportunity that’s property related? Well, the answer may be closer than you think – right on your doorstep perhaps. In fact, there’s money to be made anywhere you see a property for sale. Let me explain…

| lonicera, have you tried blogs? If you run a blog in your niche, and write nice, friendly comments on the major high traffic blogs in your niche, that can get you a good amount of traffic. If you are good at writing (or good at outsourcing the writing!) build a blog with some content, and try to write guest posts on higher traffic blogs. Add their blogs to your blogroll, if you send them a bunch of traffic they usually return the favor. If you comment on their blog, some of them are nice to comment back or ping back. I wrote a comment on a huge blog with hundreds of thousand of readers, I actually took the time to write a detailed comment about the topic he posted, with some additional information. The guy sent me trackback with a message right away, and this is a blogger with close to a million readers. If you regularly write high quality comments and promote their blog a bit, you can try to write guest posts. But first you must build a relationship with the other bloggers, and this is something that can't be outsourced. You have to be interested in the blogs, the niche, and the people. It has to be genuine. One lady I know built her entire subscriber list and got about 10000 subscribers by just writing guest posts on other major blogs. Twitter is also good. You can do giveaways, such as the first 5 people to retweet this win free report. That will get people to retweet your stuff like crazy. If it's a good bonus they willl be happy and tweet how they are happy and how thankful they are. But you can't just pitch stuff and drop links like a spammer, you have to write like a human being, answer questions, give advice, build a relationship with the people. That will get you a lot of followers very quickly. Putting a personal and human touch to things works better than automated twitter bots in the long run. |

| About Affiliate Marketing - Affiliate marketing requires time, work and patience. You MUST build a list in order to have someone to sell to. That’s the tricky part. If you only think of your subscribers as your “LIST” you won’t get very far. Your subscribers are people. They have the same hopes, dreams and fears that you have. Take time to get to know them and to let them get to know you. Prove to them that they can trust you by taking a personal interest in them. How can you get to know people who are nothing more than first names and e-mail addresses? How do you know what to offer to these invisible people? Talk to them! Ask them what they want to know, learn, or buy – and then give it to them. An autoresponder is an invaluable tool, but it is usually not very personal. Sometimes, especially when your list is small, you can actually get to know your subscribers. Believe me, it’s worth the effort. Choosing an Affiliate Product - There are thousands of affiliate products on Clickbank and other sites. How do you pick a winner? I won’t even go into choosing a niche and/or product. There is a wealth of information about that on this forum. Here is something to keep in mind – If you are going to be using PPC, or CPA – choose a product that you could recreate, making it bigger, better, more valuable. If you are getting a 50% commission and are breaking even - or close to it - using PPC, create your own product, point your PPC ads toward it and you will instantly double your profits! About CPA - CPA means cost per action, as opposed to PPC which is pay per click. You can spend an amzing amount of money on PPC ads by getting clicks from people who are only slightly curious about your offer - and never intend to buy your product. Cost Per Action advertising is expensive, even when compared to Pay Per Click, but there are certain advantages which make it my choice for paid ads when compared to the PPC crap shoot. If the ACTION is to click a "Buy Now" button you should make a profit from each click. If you find the right product, CPA can be a “no brainer”. Here’s a recent example of this. There is at least one marketer today who NEVER loses money on his CPA campaign. Yahoo, MSN and AOL are all desperately competing against GOOGLE. They will pay you $2.50 every time you get someone to accept and install their toolbar on a browser. This marketer has found a source that will let you download 10,000 Smilies, free. His CPA ads offer “10,000 Smilies FREE when you install a FREE toolbar on your browser”. As there is no purchase required, thousands of people are responding and he earns $2.50 each time. His CPA ads cost him a fraction of his profits. You could start this campaign on a budget of $5.00 a day and roll your profits back into more ads until you are making a decent profit. NO BRAINER! |

Are some of you getting confused with CPA? I think your trying to say CPA is PPV or Pay Per View (same as Media Buys) Cost per action is what the affiliate networks (azoogle) pay you on the PPC and PPV |

Hi, Deepk. As somewhat of a newbie myself, I will tell you this from my experience. Make a decision about what you want to do and master it. Then move on from there. The posts to this thread should let you know that there are a lot of great people here willing and able to help you. But, the greatest information in the world means nothing if you never use it. You should constantly be studying IM and getting yourself more familiar with the business; that's a given. The key to your success is to choose a direction and get started. You will have ideas exploding in your head as you take those steps; write them down and do your best not to get distracted because I've found that to be a big challenge. Search the forum, there's so much good information already here. But always remember, you are responsible for your business and no one can make the decision for your about what you want to do or how to run your business. Read all of the great information that you've already gotten here and get to work. Regards, Michele |

In addition to clickbank, consider others such as Paydotcom and Click2Sell. They pay through Paypal and don't hold a reserve on your commissions. And Click2Sell gives you superior tracking... the others don't.

Hi, I'm replying to your mail, (a bit late, sorry, I was quite busy these days on some web projects) to answer to your questions, I'm used to build websites with an SEO WordPress theme, which allow some advanced design customisation, I could send you some examples of my work if you could give me your email, not yet allowed to send private messages here! I agree with Michelle just find one thing and follow through and don't get distracted by the next thing concentrate on one thing at a time. The Scientific Formula for Success (I learned this from Mark Joyner) 1. See your Target 2. Keep it in your Sights 3. Hit It (Until you Hit It) Its that simlpe. Quote:
