eCover Template Service...Profitable?

ive just started an ecover template service - create 3-D ecover designs

Aimed at IMers, warriors etc with the ability to design ecovers on your desktop using adobe photoshop.

I've just finished building the site, and need some feedback on the look and feel of the site , you can check it out in my signature.

    What do you sell exactly?
    Photoshop actions or ecover templates (step 2 flat covers on your site)?

    The ecovers on your site seem to be made with Mark Monciardini's

      Yes it is very profitable if you build a good reputation first.

      People want to work with someone they trust or at least know.

      The ecovers on your site seem to be made with Mark Monciardini's
      CoverAction Pro actions < coveractionpro.com >
      That does not matter,

      As long as he is not selling Marks product.

        But according to the site description, that's ecover actions that are sold.

        "How does FreshwebeCovers Work?

        You load FreshwebeCovers files (action scripts) into the Adobe Photoshop
        actions palette. Each FreshwebeCovers file has 2 Steps. Select the FreshwebeCovers
        file you want to use and "play" Step 1 in that file to load a blank 2-D template, you
        then easily build your design on that template with text, images, etc. When you
        have finished "play" Step 2 to automatically create your 3-D cover design...easy!        "


        * If users need to have CoverAction Pro to use the ecover templates, then that would
        be better to inform them on the sales site.

      doesn't it explain what i'm selling on the site?

      and no i'm not selling coveractionpro but i am selling actions scripts that create 3-d ecover designs, their are plenty of sites on the web that offer the same service as mine and coveractionpro.

      I'll take a look at my site and do some rewriting to make it clear of what i offer, and for it not to be confused with coveractionpro

        Yes there are many sites that offer action scripts, these are designed by them, not purchased from best known action designer

          you can actually by actions script with resell rights which is what i did, but from the reaction that i'm getting it seems as if i may have been scammed! as you all say that the action scripts i've bought (with supposed resell rights) may be coveractionpro...hmmmm..which is not what i want!

          This is why i have taken the "good riddence" Site off line, i dont want to be taken the wrong way!

            Hi Freddie,

            If that is what happened, I apologize for my tone, end of the day there are no resell rights with those scripts, they are probably the most recognisable action scripts in the IM industry.

            I also think it's a little niave to set up in the ecover industry without doing any research (I am assuming you havent as you would have realised you had no rights for the actions)

            My advice would be for you to Join the Graphics social group here, only a couple of members there so far but I believe it will become a wealth of information for the aspiring designers on here.

            Offer up 10 free ecovers on the forum, and start building up a portfolio and start building your brand

            Good luck and I hope you didnt pay a lot for the 'rese'll right' actions.

            Please PM me where you purchased them from, I will make sure Mark gets that information, I am sure they will be hearing from his legal team
