How about a deit card? You can just open another bank account.

Hi thanks for your thoughts appreciate it. I sell products on different websites and i intend to do many more. Paypal requires a new card for each product. So a new bank account each time is not convenient either. I hope this clarifies my situation. Thanks again

They are telling you that you have to have a seperate cc for every button that you make? That does not sound correct to me. I only have one card on file with paypal and I have no idea how many buttons for at least 20 sites and I have never had them ask for another card.

Are you sure you need multiple cards or maybe they just have a problem with the one you have listed with them? Expired or something?

          Hi there
Thanks for your reply appreciate it. When i start a new campaign Paypal asks me for a credit card number. When i supply it they say that that credit card is already being used "pick another credit card". All my credit cards are active and working. Thanks again

Go ahead and explain exactly what you are trying to do. What do you mean by setting up a new "campaign." What kind of campaign? Where are you setting it up?

Explain clearly what you are trying to do and one of us can help you figure it out.

If you own all these sites, you don't need a new credit card for each 'campaign". I think what you might be confused by is that PayPal only allows one IPN setting in your account.

That's fine. Set up one, even if you never use it. Then, on each of your sales pages, pass the payment processing URL to that site's payment script in the PayPal button's notify_url field. That UTL will override the default one in your account for that particular transaction.

I have asked Paypal for help but they come back with standard answers not suitable for my question. Thanks again

You bank will allow a bunch of debit cards for a business account. Just say they are for employees.

Yeah, last I knew, there was not even a way to have advertising campaigns in Paypal. What would even be the point? It would be incomplete, and needless effort and waste on paypals part. A campaign would require tracking from the BEGINNING, and paypal is setup to only track the PAYMENT which is generally at the END!

Now as for PRODUCTS, one account really has no limit. For SITES, one account really has no limits.

And Paypal does NOT truly have an IPN "setting", but a way to set a ***DEFAULT*** That means it uses THAT if you don't specify anything else. If you want an IPN, that should be set when you call paypal.

      Hi There
Thanks for your reply i appreciate it a lot. I am trying to create another [new product] sales page button using a PayPal button. I know i can use different buttons with the same company name but i have a different company name with different products.

Because the website has a different name i am unable to use the same name on each paypal payment page. I find that a different name sales page with a different payment name page doesn't go down well with customers.

How do others do it? Do they have the same company name on all different products? I haven't seen many of them.

I hope this explains it a little better. So any suggestions for this? Thanks
      Dan

A great alternatives to opening a new account is getting a pre-paid debit card. You can open as many as you want usually for a small monthly fee. I currently use walmartmoneycard.com. They charge $3 a month at the walmart I bought mine at.

These are great for having different debit cards, and the good thing is they don't over draft. I hope this helped.

It sounds like you are trying to setup a NEW paypal account for every website. That doesn't make any sense at all.

If your PayPal business name is "John Smith Marketing Inc", just use that SAME paypal account for EVERY website you use. The "buy now" button code is just CODE and it all links back to one account.

You don't need different accounts for different products.

You can create paypal buttons for different amounts that all go into the same account. You can have different products, you just need to put in the code for each different pay button the the different websites.

When you log into your account, Go to Profile > More Options > My Saved Buttons.

Yeah, I agree...none of this makes sense. I have multiple sites, and use Paypal for some, and Google Checkout for some.

I have never had any issues with Paypal wanting a new credit card?

Other than that...make sure you are using a Premier or Business account, and not just a Personal account.

Never had that problem. I do it all the time. If you have customers who might be concerned then simply explain it on the click to buy part of the form.

XYZ.COM is part of the ABC family of companies. Your credit card or PayPal payment will show ABC Company as the company you paid.

Dan - use a company name that is GENERIC. Then, there will be no confusion. Can you stop posting your replies 2-3 times in a row (that are exactly the same)?

    There are other ways;

    1.Purchase a pre-paid card.
2.Get a debit card - usually every bank you're with gives you one for free.

This possibly related to your in-ability to operate a computer right? Stop double and triple posting. Sounds like you are trying to beat PP at their own game and you can't understand why the world doesn't work the way you want it to. Try running a legit business model and stopping acting PayPal shady. lol

Frankly, credit cards, in the US, with REAL credit are likely to be reported. That WILL affect your credit rating. And multiple bank accounts could conceivably be problematic also. OH YEAH, if paypal catches you, they COULD shut EVERYTHING down. With the new US laws, stated in another thread, this could create problems with taxes.

Frankly, I don't see why anyone would bother.
