Talk To Your Kids. Make Money!

I was talking to my 16 year old son this morning and he said I should try looking at a particular niche that I had never even heard of, if I had been busier I may have well blew it off but we started looking into it and I could not believe what I was looking at. Huge amount of searches low competition, plenty of ways to monetize, everything you want in a niche. Seriously low hanging fruit.

I believe that I need to get out more and talk to people that I may not usually talk to as there are probably a huge amount of these niches out there just waiting for someone (hopefully me) to find and work them. You never know when a conversation might give you an idea that leads to money.

I agree. It is amazing what you can find.

One of the ways I have been "entering into the conversations of potential markets" is using this website: Omgili Forum Search - Find out what people are saying

It looks into real-time conversations people are having all over the net in many different niches. I pick up tons of ideas here.

It is the digital version of "striking up a conversation" with folks.

Usually you lose contact with very different age groups, being more open minded can do you only good. If you are in late 30's it's kinda hard to keep in touch with whats trendy for teenagers. So i think is a very good advice, if you have kids communicate with them, most likely they will tell you things you don't even know they exists.

My little kids give me insight into the toys that kids will want....

At least the incessant, "mommy I want that," and "mommy can you buy me_____" give me some good money making ideas.

My teenage nieces and nephews- they're my 'trendspotters.'

I think expanding your network of people that you talk to can only be good for business in a variety of ways.

You can come up with new business ideas but you can also find new ways and new avenues to market existing businesses that you may be in.

My daughter is only two, so it would be "look up Dora and Boots Daddy!"..lol...but, I have found low hanging fruit in niches relating to babies before that were directly related to our parenting experiences and things I was looking up for personal reasons.

    Great post!
    Cheers
