How to use adwords to promote clickbank?

I new to this forum and I was wondering if your clickbank affiliate id that you create in you hoplink can just be pulled out and pasted as a url or if you have to use the hoplink as a impression in a site? this might come off as silly but I need to be sure before I blow fifty bucks.

Also is there any tricks of the trade using adwords, like Ive heard that its better to use local than global and i'm not sure as to why? Some people prefer to led there ads go across a period of a time while others just let them go immediately. What is the best way to use adwords for clickbank?

    Not a silly question, I ahd the same one when i started out.

    You can use your affiliate link with direct linking in Adwords however you need to provide the correct Display URL.

    The correct Diplay URL is the URL that you see after you've clicked on your affilaite link, essentally the "official" website your promoting.

    I would reccomend getting your own domain though and forwarding it to your affilaite link. The main reason being that Google will only display a single "root" URL for any given keyword but if you were to have your own URL you can get around this.

    Not to mention the benefit of having your own easy to read "Keyword Relevant" Domain.
