pay per click? I know they have now started paying for clicks but I just can't find how much.

You need to find that software where you can see the completer keyword lists and what converts more..

I forget the name of that software but I think you can use keywordspy, just do Google and you find the website and I think it is good and you can start with free trial..

It's not a fixed rate. It's a mystery rate based on?

Some people are making as much as $.25 per click.... many are making a fraction of a cent per click.

IMHO the Quality Click Pricing model is SCRE@ING Affiliates.

  On my sites I have seen as low as 1 cent to over 30 cents per click. The amount per click can rise and fall, on a given site, during the month. I can see the amount per click rise from .01, to .03, to .09, to .15, then start downward to .12, to .09, etc... I think it varies based on whether a bid/purchase is made. They have a secret formula for determining a value per click.
  I am making more per month since the pay per click started than I did prior so I can't complain.

  Your dashboard will show an overall EPC for your entire account.
  Reporting by campaign will give you an EPC per campaign.
  
  $0.30 cents a click is VERY good! Well done.
  
  I've also noticed recently, the "ups n downs" of EPC... pisses me off. lol.
