Krish, if you were doing traffic exchanges and been paying for visitors(I don't mean PPC) I understand when you say "no real visitors", and I would highly suggest you to avoid those kind of traffic generation methods.
You should focus on all other proven methods that gets you real visitors to your site:
SEO(article marketing, web 2.0 marketing, video marketing), PPC, etc.
For better results try to outsource all this, and definitely consider some other viral methods..

For me developing a great site using solid SEO principles and doing some article marketing has gotten me a lot of targeted traffic.

PPC has been a great, focused way for me to get converting traffic to a squeeze page on one of my newer websites

I used the Google Content Network with great success.

there are so many ways to build traffic it depends whether you are looking for a quick fix like twitter or a long term solution such as viral marketing or seo.

you would have to be more specific about your site etc

SEO for long term and PPC for a rough idea of whether your site converts for each keyword. Article marketing is a tried and tested method of generating traffic in the long run. Don't expect to see instant results.

This is my experience; If you want real traffic, you have to pay real $$. Garbage traffic is very cheap!

I have a website that gets about 16,000 unique impressions per month.

These are all organic SEO visitors. The theme of the website is trading/investment/forex. This could be good for work-at-home, business-opportunities, internet marketing, forex, trading, etc.

There is banner space available, format is 160X600 column. This is a new banner space for this website, on the left magin, right next to the content (premium spot!).

I can show you google analytics info to verify traffic and geographic source. Ads can be restricted by country. Ads are served via google ad manager.

If you want try it, send me a pm, make me an offer. Else I'll put adsense on it.

Here is a more expensive option, very targeted readers, trading/forex. This website is for forex trading tips. In the last few days it earned $81.90 from adsense, with 1839 impressions = $44.53 per 1000 impressions. I can show you my adsense report to verify. If you can pay me more than $44.53 per 1000, I'll replace the adsense ad with yours..

Get real live targeted readers. Whatever you do, don't waste money on garbage traffic.

So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.

Many well crafted article appear on page 1 of the big 3... sometimes within seconds (Personal best, 13 seconds) of approval (or just seconds if no approval is required.) Instant results ARE possible, just needs to be extremely well crafted. (For both the reader and the SEs).

Hi.

Depends if you need some fast traffic or steday SE traffic.
If you need traffic "yesterday" then go where your potential buyers hang (forums, socials..)

If you need SE traffic(organic) then you need to put a much bigger effort in it for ON and OFF page SEO

Your email signature offers "blast your ads to millions of real people" - have you used your own service?

It sounds like you're only using free web hosting - you already know this impedes your ability to 'seo' your sites, so your main traffic will need to come from external activities - article marketing is a decent method, I don't know why you say you need traffic before you can get traffic with articles - usually the idea is that you submit your articles to many other places/directories - and that's how you get traffic.

I have articles which have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times and get daily traffic, so they can definitely help.

There are many other ways, but since you haven't said what you HAVE done, I don't want to waste my time repeating things you've already tried.

Traffic generation is simple as long as you just do things which work.

Sounds like your problems are more than just traffic. What type of offers are you promoting, what do your landing pages look like-Do you have a solid email campaign. My friend you are in control of getting buyer visitors or not.-your keyword research most be targeted. Once you have a solid plan of what type of seed list you want from what market then take time to creat good content and test and track. In Internet Marketing the strategies we use go deep but are very basic when it comes to applying them correctly to drive traffic

So your affiliating to a product you haven't looked at, tested, bought...? There is your first problem.

Secondly, I think, someone can clarify here, affiliate links are not allowed in your sig.

Look, if your promoting a product which says 200-500 bucks a day, providing that the product is actually good, your get genuine traffic. Any free source of traffic can be genuine, organic, articles, rss, emails, it all depends on your content. If your pushing products which you never tried, don't do etc... then they aint going to like you.

  The reality is that you have to make your own traffic, or you have to buy it.
  
  Either way, seek out quality, do not waste valuable resources on promises of cheap traffic.
  
  If you are buying someone else's traffic, you have to pay more than they could earn with it themselves. Your biggest competition may be adsense.. With the right revenue stream, matched to targeted traffic, you can usually pay more than adsense pays.
  
  No-one is going to give you quality traffic for less than it is worth. You must have an edge, to get more value out of the traffic than it will cost you. If you don't have that, you will not be able to afford decent traffic.

Stop overcomplicating things, you need free hosting? Set up a free wordpress blog, you need free traffic? do some keyword research, write a bunch of optimized articles, stick them on your blog and build backlinks to your blog pages using your keyword in your anchor text.

It HONESTLY isn't any more complicated than that. It does take work, but hey, welcome to the real world.

I 100% guarantee that it works, its old school SEO and works 100% of the time (as long as you do your keyword research properly)

Main point I'm trying to make here - There is no magic traffic button, if you want results you gotta put in the work.

Krish I suggest you go read the forum rules before you start adding signature it clearly states you can not have affiliate programs in your sig... It doesn't matter if you believe in the system or not, it isn't allowed. (Read rule 5)

Doesn't matter how long you been online, time doesn't show experience.

If your not happy with paid traffic, why are you promoting a product which tells you about paid traffic, I don't get it, please explain.

There are 1000's of posts on how to get traffic in this forum, the search feature is one big golden nugget button, use it, spend a few days and you will see gold.

SEO/Link building, article marketing and forum posting will give you real traffic. Learn how to do them well, I mean really well, no short cut, and you should see an improvement.

Just about all traffic methods will work when done properly, the thing to remember is not to spread youself too thin, concentrate on 2 or 3 methods and outsource wherever possible

You should make your own traffic. SEO, social bookmarking, articles, blogs, etc. Getting someone else to give you traffic is usually a scam and that trafic does not convert well at all.
