Default Is the WSO forum a unique animal?

I am yet to see a forum that is as powerful for selling info products as the WSO forum is on here.

Perhaps I have missed the other big info products sales venues/forums, but I dont think I have.

My thoughts were, is the WSO forum so powerful that it creates a potential danger for putting all "eggs in one basket" so to speak for some people?

There are some other forums around that have similar content but I think you are right on about the venue for sales.

And there are a lot of people who make their whole income from WSOs - which I am very glad to know they are successful here.

The biggest worry about WSO is that anybody with the small fees available can toss something up there. Due to that a lot of people ignore the section all together. Threads pop up every once in a while about a solution - one idea I really like is having separate WSO for people with a low post count. Of course the problem with that is some people just lurk around forever without posting.

Anyway... I am starting to really get OT here...

As a frequent WSO buyer, I can't think another source online that provides so many high quality products all in one place.

From a buyer's point of view, the WSO forum is the perfect place for me to get good software and ideas at a discounted price. The only problem I have is choosing which WSO I should get next.

My biggest problem with the WSO section is that sellers are not accountable for their products.

For instance I purchased a WSO on Thursday, the link was broken. I posted in the thread to the buyer and he never responded. Obviously he made his money and he could really care less now. I think there should be something in place to hold sellers accountable. He makes 5k and bounces and leaves people in the dust who paid for his product and never received it. Hardly seems fair and as a members of this forum I feel there should be some form of protection against people like this.

I've lost too many friends, but I've won too many bets..

Yeah I can say that WSO is a busy marketplace indeed.

You can find all sorts of products in there..Though
as a buyer we should always practice due diligence..

as a seller, it's the best place to split test everything
before going to larger marketplaces like Clickbank and
others.

The best place to test your product launch is via wso..
if it's a dud here then you can rework everything and
test again here where Internet marketers worldwide
converge..My assumption is, if it's hot here, it can be
hot everywhere..

All the best,

WSO is outstanding, but I do wish they had an escrow option, since there have been some weirdly-protected shysters sliming their way into it and ripping people off here (threads on it removed).

The WSO forum is a great place for online information... Is there other forums like this, not in our market but if you go into other markets then sure. I look forward to testing it out soon .

There are a few others - just look for passionate people who want to make money online!

Seriously, it's the perfect market if you sell to that crowd - and a lot do!

Interesting comments. I agree on escrow - perhaps an option if the WSO value if more than $100 for example?

You can always just open a Paypal claim. Paypal *despises* info merchants.

Well another thing that could help is taking a deeper look into WSO pro. While I know some rather not use it because the are responsible business owners who will deliver it may help control those who don't.

But as we all know this business is full of scammers and "idiots", we just have to learn how to identify them and make sure we do not purchase from these people.
