Host Gator Reseller Hosting Space Allocation

I recently opened a Host Gator Aluminum resellers account. It allows 50gb of disk space and 500gb of bandwidth.

I am setting up 1 church revolution theme blog and using wp-robot on each account.

My question is to anybody who is currently using or has used Hostgator reseller hosting.

How much diskspace and bandwidth would you recommend allocating for each account with the setup I am using.

Traffic should never average more than 20-30 visitors a day per account.

Currently I am using 1000mb for disk space and 1000mb for bandwidth for each but I think that is probably much too high.

Those numbers are fine. It is in fact more than you need. But you have a single blog?

You can go back and reallocated resources later. WHM and cPanel are very easy to use.

An average size blog with pictures may take 100mb. Most of mine a hovering between 30-100mb. The larger ones maybe 300-400mb.

And these numbers INCLUDE the backups I store on the server.

Over time they grow unless you prune the archives. But the reality is most blogs are pretty small.

You have ZERO bandwidth worries with that amount of traffic.

  I am mainly using Wordpress blogs. 200MB space and 2000MB bandwidth is more than enough for each account.
  
  Using WHM, you can easily modify the quota for space and bandwidth later if you need to. If you modify the settings for the package, it will update all the accounts that are using that particular package.

  I think I will set it to 200mb for now. I have 12 blogs now, but I have plans to have several hundred in the near future.
