3 of my sited crashed and I didn't know

This past week 3 of my sites (hosted at the same provider) crashed and I did not realize it for 3 days . Once I called my provider the problem was fixed in 3 minutes.

Warriors I need your help!

Is there a service, wordpress plugin, or any other method to be notified by email when the site goes down?

    I have used Site Uptime. It has worked great for me.

    It does sound like the problem was entirely with your host and I hope that is really unusual among hosts. At least I have never had anything like this happen. Personally I would be looking for a new host and it would be high on my to do list.

      There are several sites that charge for monitoring your site and emailing you if it goes down. Google it and you shall find. Good luck, Ed.

      Lloyd Buchinski, you are right, this was a hosting problem and this is the first time it happen sinse I started using them (host monster). I am very happy with their service and understand that this things happen. I wish I knew earlier though. I lost 3 days
