When did you start making money from your list

I'm wondering at what stage did you start to see results from your list... at 500, 1000 or the 10,000 mark? I know, it's been said many times that it's not the size but the quality of the list. Currently, I have a list in a non IM niche (hot niche) but I just can't seem to convert... so I'm wondering if the number makes any difference to the results at all.

Angela, I can only speak from experience, but I was able to monetize my IM list from way back when my list size was just over 400. I was able to start making several hundred a month with just about 400 subscribers, so it's really not so much the size as the quality of your list that matters.

If the list is higly targeted(not miccs form few sites) and the product is right and you ahave a good relationship with them then you can expect great results...

The list in this specific niche has about 500+ subscribers but I've not been able to convert sales. Perhaps the list is not big enough?

If you give them a lot of quality content for free that they can use before you try to sell to them then usually they will be more responsive to an offer. In my experience, if you just try to sell to them right off the bat without building a relationship then they will think that you just want to sell to them. That is a mistake that I've made in the past.

I don't know what niche you are in, but try to give more free quality content and entice this way your subscribers to buy trough your link.

You should be earning some money as soon as you get a few opt ins. While they might not buy right away take your average subscribers for your first month lets say it was 100 if you did not make 100+ from your list you need to change your tactics around a bit.

My list is a customers only list, so straight away for me.

You can make money from a very small list of around 100 people if you give them an offer that interests them, at a price they can't refuse.
